Coffeshop in other nearby cities to Amsterdam

Are there any coffee shops worth a visit to that are close to amsterdam but not too far, maybe half an hour train ride? Or am I better just sticking to the ones in dam?

I'd suggest taking the train to Zandvoort. It's a chance to check out the beach and a couple of coffeeshops, Yanks and La Paz. The ride from Amsterdam to Zandvoort is also kind of interesting as you get to see the countryside. You can even make a stop in Haarlem on the way for a visit to Coffeeshop Birdy.

if you dont want to go all that way,, Haarlem jsut 15 min rain ride,, great little town coffeeshop birdys is my fav. in Haarlem
