Im no Fan of this ACD Award but when you do something like that you should do a "Tourist Friendly Award"

The only Award Coffeshop owners would accept from this Forum is "Tourist Friendly" i think.

But thats a thing we realy could check after a checklist.
Heres my suggestion.

1.Does the Budtender/Personel speak English good enough to Answer:
2.Ask the Budtender "Do you have anything on the Menu which won a Cup?
(Check if hes lying cause he thinks you have no clue)
3.Ask for a recommendation
(Did he recommended good Weed or something they wanted get rid off)
3a: Ask about Indica and Sativa strains and check if the Bartender is able and willing to give you all Infos in english (except this Infos are already wrote on Menu)
4.How well cured is the Weed?
Buy a Gramm of his recommended Weed and put all leaves which are on the outside of the Buds on a scale.When buying the Gramm,pay with bigger Money like a 50 Euro and then check if he gives you money back instantly or if he tries to convince you to get more Weed instead of your Change Money
6.Sit on Table with your Bong or Joint and act like you would be Super-Stoned,then order some
Food or Drink and pay with 20 Euro-Are they trying to steal from change money???

Thats all i could imagine now for a Tourist Friendly Check everybody would be able too do.

Isn't the idea your all talking about for ACD the exact same thing we do when we do a coffeeshop report in the coffeeshop section.

Cause if some fugga forgot to tell us there was Brix and Motor oil in the shit when I was there....... I'll be pissed????

Thanks. Everyone I've talked with (like 4 people, lol) in Ireland seems to have their shit together. Guess being that close to the crown you all know a thing er two about tyranny.

As far as Marco goes I target him because he targeted me. He attacked first, like the good red blooded American he is So he gets my blowback. He hasnt done very well lately either, guess I over estimated him. or he underestimated me... Either way I'm just having fun with it at point.

Weedus makes a good point about the tourist friendly award.

As for "how wil ACD manage to do this?" Treetop has already answered this better than I could, but I would like to point out we have Elasticband, Padge, Orle, Gapie, Nel, HB, Myself and others who live here and go to coffeeshops near enough everyday! Remember the uproar a couple weeks back over some vauge comments Gapie posted on facebook about amnesia? We keep in touch, we keep an eye on shit, and a few of us know enough to write books about coffeeshops and cannabis!

BTW my book about coffeeshops and cannabis will be out by christmas, please buy it. I need the money to fund research into the sequel

Thats great but when people post things like it crackled its uncured but then turn round and say i dont want to name shops cause i dont want to hurt my favourites then whats the point

Thats true BillyRiz, but tbf wen he said his favs it was easy to figure out where he meant, Gapie visits 3 shops daily and one of them dosnt sell amnesia.

One as evryone knows was voyagers, and HB smoked a pure spliff and a mixed with tobacco spliff straight after he heard about it, whichjust shows how commited he is to his buisness and how sriously our feedback as customers is taken, so that incedent worked out for the best in the end.

ACD certificates or star ratings for coffeeshops sounds good to me. TBF we basicly do it anyway here with the forum and the review pages and stuff.

Not sure the tourist-friendly award is needed or beneficial. There's already a big difference between a CS in the Centrum and a CS further out. I like Best Friends for instance - you join the queue and do your do quickly. They wouldn't suffer some kid looking at 5 strains and then spending a tenner. In and out sharpish - that's their thing. And they're conspicuously cheaper.

The CSs in the centre have to be more tolerant of tourists and, frankly, have to adopt to American expectations of 'service'. (but enjoy the US levels of tipping?)

Some pedant buys a iffy draw and it goes to a 4 page thread? Shit happens. Move on and buy elsewhere. Life tends to throw up bigger shit to worry about - if you have one.

All said, I'd like to know which CSs Weedus frequents - for reasons obvious in their posts.
