Barentsz and 137 are good shops near Westerpark. You also have Hugo de Groot, Funky Munkey, 1e Hulp and De Supermerkt within 15 minutes walking.

I didn't like Barentz for service but their weed was alright. I think they don't like tourists

Do you mean the staff don't like tourists or the other customers?
Can't really believe staff don't like tourists unless you came in there with a large group and only bought like 1 gram of gruis.

Barentz wouldn't let me in (which they told me after buying, of course) since I was a tourist (I was living in Amsterdam at the time). Also, they were astounded that I had somehow wandered so far from Centrum
