1. Yes
2. Barely. You'll need to clear passport control and security will be at the gate. Train takes 20 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal. I would head across the road to Voaygers as its the closest good shop to the station.
3. No since you already plan to clean up before your return.
Good luck and don't waste anytime or you might miss your flight.
Will i be able to??
Re: Will i be able to??
Indeed, that will be your longest wait both coming and going.
Are you stoned? Like a gravel road bitch, like a gravel road!

Check your bags near the depart gate, and not the arrival gate like I did, a mad dash across the airport is not fun after spending time in a coffee shop

1) yesRafael wrote:So here how it goes.I have a connection flight from Cyprus to Glasgow through Amsterdam.I have like 4h and 15mins waiting at the airport so i have like 3 questions.
1.Will they let me leave the airport to go to town?
2.Is 4h enough to go to the city with train, have like a couple of joints at a coffee shop and come back?
3.Am i going to have problems when i go back to the airport if i look stoned? (am going to change clothes and brush my teeth before going back though)
p.s I'm just going to smoke it at town(in a coffee shop),am not taking anything with me

Relax. Four hours is plenty of time. I've done this kind of thing many, many times. On several occasions with a tighter time window.
A few time saving tips. If you have checked luggage you can buy a train ticket to Centraal station while you wait for it to arrive.
Passport control at Schipol is very fast and efficient so don't worry about that. The new 'self service' lanes have sped things up considerably on that score.
Voyagers is a good shout for a CS as it is good and very convenient to the station. You do have time to go further afield but why would you want to do that?
Finally and again from from personal experience do not worry about being/looking stoned/high as you go through customs and back to the gate. The customs officers have seen it all before and much worse. As long as you can walk and function that is enough.
In your shoes I'd rush, rush, rush TO the coffeeshop then relax, relax, relax BACK to the airport. Remember there are ample places to smoke and indulge in the munchies at the airport so consider getting back early, enjoying a spliff by the lake, a nice snack in the food court then a happy amble back to the departure gate.
Have a good time. Relax. You'll be fine.

Save a spliff to smoke outside the airport...and grab a couple space cakes to eat before heading to the gate...never fails

Amsterdam dreaming.............
Re: Will i be able to??
Are you on the same airline for both flights? If so your bags should be transferred as a connecting passenger for you. If not then as said before dump your bags near to the departure check in gate (this will be on the screens). The flight to Glasgow may have online check in, if it has then use it and dump your luggage at a bag drop point so you can go straight to security when you get back. Leave an hour from wheels down to walking into Voyagers (take ID) and 90 minutes to get back and through security. Gives you a good hour and a half to enjoy.
Just had a look. If you are KLM then check in on line up to 30 hrs before and bag drops accept baggage for all flights from 0500 on the same day. http://www.klm.com/travel/gb_en/prepare ... /index.htm
The only other direct airline is easyJet and it's the same with them. http://www.easyjet.com/en/cheap-flights ... irport-ams
