Cheap apartments?

Post by hilian »

Hi my fellow Dam'd
Does anyone know of any cheap , smoker friendly, apartments to rent for holidays?
Since my fave hotel The Hemp, closed
I fancy a change
Getting a bit long in the tooth for struggling up narrow stairs with a large heavy suitcase :D
So I would be grateful for any info.
Also dreading trying to find another reasonably priced hotel that isn't too skanky too far out of town, or too many scary stairs, I spent hours and hours looking on line to find the ones I've been to and hate the thought of doing it again :?

if you enjoy it pass it on

Do not assume an apartment will not have hideous stairs to climb; just come back from a stay in a quality place over 4 floors, but the stairs up to the first floor from the street were simply a ladder. In the pitch black too, lol. It is nearly impossible to avoid crazy stairs in Amsterdam. :)

Fwiw though I second Amsterdamstay as a good site, mostly because it is relatively well designed unlike many of the other appt sites, and easy to filter for smoking etc. I've used it several times and never had an issue.
