Thanks for comments guys, to be fair in my cousins defence - he made it clear to me that was his agenda for trip.

@worldcitizen1723 Don't I know it, if she gives me another chance I will not let her go this time.

@stanleymoon The last day was actually what inspired me to write a trip report as it was an interesting experience to say the least. The drawings did look good, I thought - I mean I don't know much about drawing but they looked good to me.

Yes a very decent read CT! Same thing kind of happened on my first trip with my best friend and brother-in-law. I helped my bestie get to Amsterdam cuz I wasn't going to experience Da Dam without him. He wanted to pick his seat on the plane, pick his bed at the hotel, go only to the CS's he wanted to go to, etc. Everyone who's wondering if they should go solo only need to read your report. That way you can discover everything yourself and maybe make some new friends, even if they are dodgy-looking Arabic ones

Seriously waaaaaay too much thinking going on that last day, ya just gotta go with the flow in Mokum

I think that maybe you and I are a couple of passive guys though and that's why we had some similar experience's.

P.S. Hope your Ex comes around and you get her back!!!!!!!!!!

Nice report, I've had the same thing happen twice in the Dam, once with a good mate and once with a woman...both turned totally strange and awkward! Must be something in the water.

I stuck with the mate, but ditched the woman and went off for a smoke with Stan. Very good decision.

Dude that is why they have the extra large 'friends that just want to go to the airport' lockers at centraal station. Only about 5 euros for 24hrs, and your friends are safely stored till you are ready to go. 8)

Bloody good advice fella, also if you are storing more than 2 or three friends; make sure you take a hammer an nail so you add more air holes. No need for cruelty now is there
@ can't think - I agree, you don't leave your mates on a jolly. Great read and hope that you have a great time in March.

Cheers for comments guys, I'll remember the lockers next time - although my mate says he'll never leave the country without his missus again!

Bravo to you for this trip report. Seems like Amsterdam stirs some deep emotions in some people. Especially on leaving day. :?:
How much did you produce?
