Nae bad min, foo's yer doo's? Atleast it's no inverness..... peterheed is just a shite town which use to fish and has a prison, nae hard to beat sadly.

Met a girl from Dundee once, her favourite Dundee phrases were; 'fling ya boot like a kappa trackie' and 'ken what doll'

My friend from dundee is coming over in 5days, she is one of the most well spoken people I know. Family background and upbrining makes a big difference, but dundee can be a pretty grimmy accent. Scumdee as the sheep shagers call them.....

Yea completely agree about background and upbringing being key. My best friend grew up on The Manor council estate in Sheffield (Although improved in recent years, still considered one of the worst council estates in Sheffield) and graduated from Kings College London University with a Law degree last year, now earning about £36k per year while continuing his studies to become a fully qualified solicitor.
