Unfortunately, he seems to be opening separate threads deliberately.
Many of us have already told him that he should open one thread.

As long as people are allowed to do what they like, with no banning, even it's for a limited period of time, it's very hard to get their respect for the rules.
IMO, we need moderators who have the power to ban people under pre-defined circumstances of course. For a week (1st offence after warning), two weeks (2nd offence after warning), a month (3rd offence after warning), forever (4th offence after warning), or something similar.
There a very few good forums that don't include some type of system like that.
This free for all policy is obviously not working.

i disagree entirely with old timer's post.

the idea of respect for rules is a nonsense, and multiple threads on an internet forum isn't an issue that needs to be ruled on.
banning for committing an offence? really? an offence? it's an internet forum about weed. the bloke's links are about weed. he should be welcomed and thanked. offence. christ almighty.

i'm not sure acd has a free for all policy but whatever policy it does have has worked well for many years and doesn't need any authoritarian tinkering. obviously.

the cheese fellow should keep posting in exactly the manner that he wishes until lemming asks him not to. and even then, complying with a request from lemming would be more a matter of manners than respect for rules.

The problem with cheese dab I feel is he posts random stuff and doesn't really comment much or go further. Therefore it leaves all us stoners thinking WTF? and feeling a bit like a stunned mullet.

Cheesedab you should make a thread about all the interesting weed shit you've found and combine it into one thread, titled maybe cheesedab and cool shit. I don't know you come up with a catchy title. Also if you would tell us whether any of these videos are yours or are just posting video's you have found.

Now if he answers then he might not be just a spammer, but if he continues to just post random shit without conversing then I think he will be labelled as a spammer.

Personally Cheesedab is not near as annoying as these other fucks. If I don't like the subject or am sick of the poster I just don't read their shit.

I'll send cheesdab a message so he can reply as well.

if on topic material can be spam then it must be being defined as such by the spamee rather than the spamer. spam is in the eye of the beholder so to speak. now then, if spam doesn't become spam until the spamee feels spamed can there, in the first instance, really be said to be any spam at all?

Doesn't matter if you define his posts as Spam or not.
The issue is that there is no reason to open an individual thread for each post!
The fact that what he posts most people here consider bullshit, is another matter entirely.
He has the right to post bullshit I guess, just not as an individual thread for each bullshit item.

He's been repeatedly and nicely asked, to absolutely no avail (and occasionally a highly immature response) and just keeps starting new threads or posting the same dumb video in multiple ones as if he's making some brilliantly imaginative point none of us have ever thought of before. It is only one tiny touch better than complete spam imo and easily as annoying.

I'd not suggest anyone "real" should get banned from this site but seriously, joining a forum then acting as he has been, ignoring various people attempting to guide him to act otherwise is pretty damn obnoxious, and blatantly deliberate.

You know when you're chilling in a coffeeshop having a great time and then some really loud fucker comes in shouting and bawling and insisting that everyone present gets to hear his dumbass opinions etc so that it completely changes the vibe in the whole place and everyone end up leaving just to get away from them? Its a bit like that, not that the loud guy shouldn't have been allowed in at all but he definitely should have a lot more respect for the people who are already there and the general atmosphere of the place so as not to ruin it for everyone else.
