It will be opening around Christmas, directly across the street from the existing location. I peeked in there and construction is moving along nicely. One of the bartenders, Alex, was a chef in a starred restaurant at one point and will heading up the menu.

He says it will be simple food, easily prepared and hopefully expertly done. Naturally you can smoke your brains out over a beer, and if you need to re-up your stash you can just go across the street to the coffeeshop at the old location.

I was also told the hotel operation will not have the apartment after the first of the year.

sounds like my kinda place.......already plan on giving the rookies a thorugh once-over, now even more reson to do so.

Hopefully it will be open. I saw the beer taps already in place, etc.
