A friend of mine grows his own plants and smokes his own weed.. sometimes however, he makes Hashish out of them . I've seen him do it, he blends the weed a very tiny bit, then bags it, and freezes it... and then to take the resin out, he brushes and taps the frozen weed over a silk screen (you know, those that you use to print things on tee-shirts).. and so on..
anyway, he spends so much time doing it that way (its good hash though).. but I was wondering if any of you know another way of making hash..? any kind of way will be appreciated..
try doing a google search for "bubble bags" or "water hash" . "Water/Bubble" hash is considered the best by many and has bcome quite popular lately. I believe that most of the "isolator" hashes available in the dam are some variant of water hash.

2 questions:
1) I saw the Bubbleator thing but its too expensive! Scott I like your way but I don´t know where to get the "silk screen".. what kind of shops could I get one in??¿?¿?
2) what is the rest of the process to do the hash??
well.. I read the Ice Hash Method to make hash... looked promising, and as Im a bit curious I tried it out...
baught about 75 euros worth of weed (at 5 euros a gram, so 15 grams in all) from a dealer I know personally (hence I knew the weed was good). went through the whole process... and came out with approx....... 5 grams of hash!
now, I got to say.. its fucking strong.. Im a heavy smoker, I rolled a normal J and couldn't get passed half way.. on top of it all I think I stayed lying on the grass with me mates for about 3 hours just totally out.. so in that prospect, I was happy
on the other hand however.. the hash has no taste! or at least very little... and from my starting 15 grams, I only got 5 grams that would mean each gram of Hash I made is worth 15 euros??

I was thinking about making some "honey oil" from some "commerical"/mexican herb since that is easy to come by and rather cheap for me.
The main thing about making hash is to get the THC out of your leafs and stems. 3 most popular ways are: -
The blender method for making hash
Put water in a blender. Add a large handful of leaves, stems, seeds and weak weed. Put it in 3 or 4 ice cubes and blend it for 3-4 minutes or so. Just make sure everything is chopped very finely. Second, you will need a gold reusable coffee filter (or 90-line silk screen). Get a large mouth quart mason jar, and strain your Slurpee mixture through it. Once you have strained all the liquid through, run some more water through the leaf material to wash any extra trichomes through.
After a few minutes you will notice a white collection at the bottom of the jar, this is the trichomes. Let the trichomes settle at the bottom for about 20-30 minutes. Next, pour off the top 2/3's of the filtered green water, leaving the settled trichomes at the bottom. Add more ice water to get the green stuff out, and let the trichomes settle at the bottom for about 20 minutes again. Repeat this step one more time. Pour off as much water as you can without pouring off trichomes, filter the resulting trichome/water mix through a paper coffee filter. The trichomes will not go through the paper, but the water will. When all the water has gone through, slightly wet, cold, mass of trichomes will be left. They will be easy to handle and to press.
The alcohol method for making hash
Take your stash (stems, seeds, weak weed) and place them in a covered pot, with enough alcohol to cover everything. Isopropyl alcohol is commonly available at pharmacies. Look for alcohol that is 99% pure. Denatured alcohol also works well. Sometimes isopropyl alcohol is called rubbing alcohol.
Now carefully boil the mixture on an electric stove. Be careful: the alcohol is very flammable! After 45 minutes of heating you can strain the solids out, saving the alcohol.
Now, repeat the process with the same residuals, but with fresh alcohol. When the second boil is over, remove the solids again, combine the two quantities of alcohol and boil again until you have a syrupy mixture. This syrupy mixture will contain much of the THC formerly hidden in the stash.
Making Cannabutter
Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil, then put a small amount of butter in the water.
The butter melts, and mixes in with the water. Then put the grass or stash in and boil it. Now all the grass will be riling around with the water and the butter. The THC dissolves into the butter. Stir the stuff regularly. After half an hour of cooking the grass, strain out the grass and stash and squeeze all the juice out of it, and put the liquid in the fridge.
A few hours later, the mixture is cold enough so that the cannabutter has solidified to the surface. It will look kind of scummy, but it's just enchanted butter. Scoop it out and retain it in a bowl or a jar. The cannabutter can be used just like butter, in brownies or cake.
I have just bought a pollen press from my local pipe shop. Its a small brass cylinder with brass screw on caps either end. Inside there are 2 clear hard plastic rods. I smoke around an ounce of good bud a week
and have a pollinater grinder from which i get my sifted trichs. I've had it for 3 weeks and have produced around 7 grams of very strong light green hash. Also from the same shop they have what is called a honey bee extractor. A plastic loo roll shaped thing. Screw on caps either end with one hole on the top 1 to take the end of a gas canister. the kind you fill lighters with and the other end having 5 small holes. The idea is you crush up around 1 or 2 ounces of bud or crappy weed and put inside the container. Next you go through the same sort of proccess as filling your lighter. Do this in an open space (GAS). underneath the container place a mirror to catch the resulting flow of honey oil. At least i think thats how it works. Im gonna buy one thursday.
