I first visited barney's in april and had the G13 Haze which was a real and unexpected experience.
I also had from the amnesia red cherry berry and sweet tooth (also on barney's menu)
these 3 weeds are wonderful. So even if it became touristic and a bit pricey, this place is a good spot for those who like "grand cru".
Dont forget that good weed is priceless.
Also the fact it is not allowed to use tobaco anymore shows that the owner seems at leas to be a real weed lover and not just a seller.
Last but not least, why is this CS gathering so many awards since so many years?
The answer for me is simple : this place is a must.

I was here in june/juli and the smoke was really good.

Actually my fave smoke came from barneys, they had/have? a really nice charas there that was really top notch.

Also enjoyed some cheese here and some g13 haze.
All good and both very strong highs, though im not as much into weed as i am in hasch.

Because they spend a lot of money on things to win votes the same with Greenhouse, funny that all throughout the year the majority of visitors say Grey Area has the best quality yet hardly wins anything at the cannabis cup.

So true Bonner. IMO the cup is a big rip-off.

right, Bonner.

As for me, I don't understand people here, who call products from barney's or amnezia - "top best but overpriced"!
what is best? g13? or sth else from winners? just normal weed but not sth special, what allows this crazy overpricing...
but although barney's is every day full.....
good example of right management :?

its full because of the name- a reputation like that goes a long way and the place is world famous. There is better weed elsewhere for sure.

i have only had great experiences in all the barneys shops..

personally i have only had good breakfasts there.. with nice fresh juice.. and i can smoke as much as i would like while waiting for my food. also they serve alcohol here. this is at the barneys uptown btw.

also the original coffeeshop has always been nice for me... the caramello cream is top notch and so are some others.

the barneys lounge is nice, the budtenders were very friendly here... and u can use the volcano on ur own time

and the only barneys breakfast bar was cool too before... i used to love that odd shaped booth seat area near the door.

The food is over-priced, the staff can be surly, but . . .

. . . life is too short, and my stays in Amsterdam are even shorter, to screw around. I won't quibble over an extra few Euros if I like what I'm getting.

13.50 Euros for a breakfast though? you can get much cheaper breakfasts that are just as nice! The food menu is a tourist trap, only a tourist would pay those absurd prices. They must be making a ten euro profit on each breakfast! Tight arse bastards. Seriously a fry up is an extremely cheap meal- you can go out and get a proper steak meal for that price! Or a big curry or something like that. Some bacon, sausages and eggs etc. costing that much? Only a tourist with money to burn, no respect for the customer shown

I thought the price was worth it considering you can smoke dope. I live in Ireland, prices here are that high, and you do not get to smoke dope with breakfast, in a restaurant that is.

The weather was crap. I like to stay dry while I eat breakfast.
