Just planning a trip in March this year - my passport expires in april this year - does anyone know for sure if I will be okay to travel with my current passport?
I know some places like the US state you need six months until your expiration date before you travel....
Best to be on the safe side

I would renew it before you go. See
THIS thread over at Channels. What dates will you be in Amsterdam in March? I'll list you on the Whos In Town page.

renewing it would be the best option

I dunno Mang.... I'd get it renewed A.S.A.P.
I too read that post over at Channels... scary stuff to plan a trip only to have a 60 or 90 day clause near ruin it.
Most post offices or local court house can take your CASH and get it sent in to the proper gov't office... plan on 5 weeks anyway.
Do a Google search to find all the needed paper work required for renewal ... one of them dot gov sites well square ya away!

I had the same problem last year, phoned up the Dutch embassy and they said there was no problem whatsoever, you could travel back with 1 day left if you wanted, so a month will be fine
