SMOKE REPORT

Post by MARCE »

After a 5am start and flight from Newcastle i arrived at Amsterdam Centraal at 0915 and as always I headed straight to Barneys looking for some G-13 Haze, my first Bong and also my Breakfast.
I bought 3 Grams of G-13 for 40 Euros and located a seat in an already full shop...Now this G-13 is like no weed i have ever bought/smoked before. Firstly, it smells like Roast beef when it is ground, those lovely, sticky & crystal-covered buds just want to be smoked and i just wanted to smoke them so i filled my first bowl...
The first Bong went down a treat and i got talking to the people on my table! I was sat with a Dutch bloke called William (pronounced 'Villem') and also two lads from East London. We traded advice on where to go for the best smoke and William gave me loads of Amsterdam facts to impress my friends back home with...did you know that the Dutch government only allow a Coffee shop to open in a town if it has 200.000 inhabitants or more? If it has 199.000 people then they wont get one at all! Wounded.
The G-13 is very very nice though, a clean and clear high, great for my first of the day! Highly recommended but admittedly expensive!
2 hours passed and it was time to move on to Amnesia where i ordered 2 grams of Caramello Hash from the Beautiful girl behind the counter!
This stuff Reminded me of the 'squidgy black' that we used to find around now and again in England, but caramello is more like sweet smelling, sticky playdough
A joint was made, adding some G-13 for good luck ;) & what followed was a nice stoned, warm, mellow feeling...lovely.
I looked forward to adding some crystals to the mix when i got to the Grey area later on aswell. lol
Now the Grey area really is as small as i'd read on here, a cool looking shop though! I purchased a Gram of 'Grey mist crystals' for 14 Euros i think (i say that, but to be honest, i can't honestly remember after the joint in Amnesia haha) I did decide to move straight on though on due to the lack of seats and space!
I eventually found my way to the greenhouse effect and ordered a pint of my favourite Stella Artois & grabbed a bong...Now Greenhouse effect is probably my favourite Coffee shop in Amsterdam. A very relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, nice decor, nice beer & one of the few that still allow both alcohol and Cannabis!
The inevitable Caramello/Crystal bong was smoked... The buzz from this was intense, as i described to my friend via text message, it felt like i was nailed to the seat hahaha. The same warm mellow high followed though 8)
After a few pints and another bong, it was getting on a bit so i headed to Babas, another favourite of mine, because the music is quality, plenty of banging House/Trance & Techno to smoke to!
Things got a bit hazy by this point but i remember grabbing some food in La Cana and helping a Chinese/American girl find her way to the station!
My flight left on time and exactly 13 hours later i was back home again with the 5 grams i forgot to take out of my bag  ;)
I'm happy to report i still have plenty of all 3 purchases left and the time off work to enjoy them
