i'm not new to this site, but i am to the forums.. ive been posting over at EDIT forums (EveryoneDoesIt).. but i see we have a bigger 420 group over here!

my first trip to the dam will probably be on 420, all i need to do is pay for everything. lol, i need to find a hotel.. i was told greenhouse effect but then some people are saying stay away from RLD hotels??

i want to stay a week, 6 nights 7 days type thing, so i can experience a good portion of amsterdam because god knows when i'll ever be back..

Welcome to the forum, KMK0420. Nothing wrong with hotels around the Red Light District except that they’re overpriced. The RLD is the centre of Amsterdam and by far the most convenient place to stay. There are hotels of every standard in the area between Centraal Station and Dam “square” but they are all more expensive than hotels of the same standard outside the centre.

yeah i'd rather be close by since i'll be alone, yeah i'll probably meet up with fellow forumtokers from around the globe but in general i'd rather not have to walk a million miles to get back to my room..

i think greenhouse effect is where i'm gonna stay then.. i'd rather pay a little more and have convienience than pay a little less and have to hike a mile to the rld..

i wish i had a guide!! haha that would be awesome.. 6 nights, shared bathroom = 360 euro. expensive especially when i don't even have a private toilet..eh..

Welcome aboard. I am one of those going on 420. Will be my 4th trip in 5 years. Lots of info here and on Rez's site which is sort of run by maniacs like me who have been making plans for 8 or nine months now Have an apartment rented just across the canal from Amnesia and Grey Area, little bit of a walk to 420 and Nes, but not that far. Haarlem is a nice contrast to Amsterdam and well worth a visit. I’ve been to the other WWW places but not Indica yet so I for one am definitely up for an excursion.

not to step on any toes....

i think the plans were basically just the 'meet' at 4:20 on 4/20 at 420 (de Kuil) and a trip to harlem on the 21st......and a possible smoking boat cruise (AzLaker, is working on the details for that).

other then that i know there is a small(er) group getting togeather on 4/19 at some point, and someone else had proposed a rough intinerary of ideas.......

After the begining of the new year i'm sure more and more plans will pop up and things will tighten up.

just to summerise;

Thurs - 4/19 : 4.19pm "smoke-out" (in preperation for 4/20) at a location to be decided
Friday - 4/20 : CS crawl - with ppl joining/drifting along the way (nothing set in stone)... some say as many CS's as possible... to be at De Kuil in advance of 4.20pm - huge donation joint to be smoked - moving onto Nes
Saturday - 4/21 (day) : day trip to Harlem
Saturday - 4/21 (eve) : Smoker friendly canal criuse (AzLaker researching in December)
Sunday - 4/22 : Mellow out in Vondelpark - weather permitting

and as much smoking as possible in-between
