hey folks my name is andy and i thought i would post a new thread i am going to see roger waters with 7 of my friends on may 5th at the geldredome in Arnhem and was just wondering if......

* anyone is going
* how can i get ther from the train station in amsterdam
* is it easyer to pre book your hotel or book it when you get ther

Welcome.Sorry don't know that much about Arnhem.In May there are lots of flower tourists,so you may want to book hotel ahead of time.I saw Roger Waters,Dark Side of the Moon,in September.Great show,sounded terrific.Enjoy

that should be a hell of a show!!

not sure how on best way to get there, i'd say check out the webiste for GVB (that is the train service) their site should be able to tell you the route and cost from Amsterdam Centraal.

I would defintiely book ahead...just to save yourself the grief of dealing with it once your are there.

GVB is the Amsterdam Mass Transit orginization. You want www.ns.nl for train info. www.bahn.de works too.

Saw Roger Waters last year in the Netherlands and it was a great show. Hope to go again this year if I have money.

Very easy to get to the Geldredome. From Amsterdam, take the train to Arnhem, you might have to change trains in Utrecht. From the train station in Arnhem there are special direct buses to the Geldredome. The bus takes 10-15 minutes and costs a couple of euros for the roundtrip ticket.

Since this concert is only a few days after Queen's Day and you a good size party, I would suggest booking ahead. Here are a few smoker friendly hotels in Amsterdam.
