I was wondering if hasj was kept in a warm pocket for a long time, would it lose some of its potency? Some black hasj can almost get to a point where it gets too sticky to handle. If cooled, the heated parts still stick and do not return to its original doughy form.

What is a long time to you? If you are talking about some days or even some weeks I am sure there will be no noticeable loss in potency, maybe if you keep it in your pocket for months. How long time are you thinking of keeping this hash in your pocket before smoking it all up?

Since the consistency changes, I was just curious. Not long. But being stoned and walking from shop to shop, I might forget I have something in my pocket. Gonna have a small shoulder pack for gear and other things but will keep the hasj in pockets.

If you were worried about smuggling some hash in your pocket and how the warm body temperature would affect the hash (possible loss of potency) then think of hash that actually is being smuggled inside the body of humans. You know those caramello eggs that are being swallowed, they are staying inside the body at a temperature of 37 degrees for quite some time and it does absolutely nothing to the potency.

Agreed. The OP:s question may seem like a noob question, but I still find it a legitimate question. Not everything is crystal clear to everybody. There are far worse and irritating questions being asked on this forum.

And we are stoners, being supposed to be peaceful, friendly and helpful to each other. What the hell happened to that?
