Hello,

Not sure if I posted in the right place but anyway I tried a few pulls of a splif at 16 and coughed my lungs off haha. Anyway I went to Amsterdam last year was just passing through a day so didn't smoke any weed but picked up a space cake, I had a good experience from eating the cake it was a nice stoned feeling very relaxed and wanted to eat haha. Question is what do you guys recommend I smoke first as I am going for 3 days 9th jan 2014.

Go to barney's (or another cs that has a vaporizer) and get some nice indica to start with. I dont smoke(cigs) and I rarely smoke weed so when I go to dam I need a few smokes before my lungs get used to it hence why I now always start with the vaporizer.

Just go to greenplace and go for a nice hybrid like the silverbubble its not really to heavy and smoke is smooth and fruity

Since you are there in the Dam, you could say fuck it and go to Bushdocter. We'll be sure to help if you need assistance.

During the cup i had 2 grams of tangie sativa strain with really warm feelings when smoked no creeper at all... just warm and lovely feeling

So where are you staying? Using Lemming's maps or plain old Google maps, will help you locate the coffeeshops close to "home!" Then you can read the reviews here and check out the menus at coffeeshop menus. You should definitely check out Voyagers and Utopia. Then as a challenge see if you can make it to one of the coffeeshops that are off the beaten path. Perhaps a visit to Mr. K's or Spirit would fill the "off the beaten path" challenge.

If you are truly a newbie, then proceed with caution. Be careful if you mix alcohol with weed. Ask the budtender for strain recommendations, roll a joint, take a couple of hits and wait to see what's going on. While space cakes in general don't seem to be as strong as they once were, they still can be problematic as you can't easily titrate your THC intake and the effects come on slowly.
