A strange strain question....

Post by ChefGirl9 »

So, as I was sitting here doing research for my next Amsterdam trip, a thought came to mind....

I am allergic to mangos (the fruit). Highly allergic. As in, eat a small piece go to the ER allergic.

Do the "mango" strains have any genetic relationship to the mango fruit? It could save my life (ok, maybe not really, but it sounded good).

i belive that all fruity strains were crossed with a plant of its name,

so bluebury was created by crossing a nice blue cannabis plant with a blueberry plant to fully release the properties.

i guess its the same for mango, lavender, etc

nah you should be fine girl! nothing mango about it except it reminded the breeder of mango plants when it was created.
riding here & there!

lol , its just a strain name . It has nothing to do with the actual fruit, in fact most of the time the weed wont even taste like mango.

like mtbskalover said, its just a name given by the breeder of the seed/clone.

smoke all the mango weed , or blueberry or whatever u;d like !!

all the best
