I might be wrong (I'm french) but isn't "Paki" a racist term?

It's one of those "on the edge" kind of words, it's obviously a shortened version of Pakistani. Like many words the context in which it is used is often the factor in it becoming offensive in a racist way.
I believe it's commonly used by younger generations of Pakistani descent to self identify, in the same way that some Black people use the N word.

In the UK at least, it's a pretty offensive term, best avoided.

Indeed the use of the word is frowned upon here in the UK. Its still ok to call an Irishman a Paddy though

It's this one:
Blue Moon, Gravenstraat 15. It's built into an alcove on the outside of de Nieuwe Kerk (New Church).
