I once knew a guy in Leicester who described the Exo cheese smell to be a bit like aniseed. Hard to describe its smell to be honest. But I'd still say they where once the same and that Blues came before Exo cheese. Maybe the birthplace of cheese was Sheffield and not Luton. I am from both places. Never saw anything cheesey till way after the Blues. But Urban legends can't be pinpointed really. All I knew is that the bud was better than Dam! Which was a shock for me at the time. But obviously pleasing too!
The Exodus cheese cutting came from Haz manor in Luton, the Livers cut( aka Blues) originated from Sheffield. They are not the same, IMO the livers cut outstinks the exo cheese cut.[/

They where more similar than they are today.

Where is Haz manor in Luton?[/quote]
If you google Haz manor Luton you should get some info, failing that there is a thread on UK420.com that should have the info your looking for if you seach on there. I'm pretty sure the exodus cheese and Phychosis both originated there.

I'm from Luton. Don't need google! Haz Manor isn't an area of Luton. Think it's the exodus crews bolt hole. When I went to exodus raves NOBODY was smoking anything like cheese or blues. It was all weed- good weed like rum n raisin and Jamaican red beard etc. Then this green stuff started appearing. Firstly just skunk. Then white widow was big. Never saw anything cheesy/bluey till I moved to Sheffield. This is where I started getting Blueberry later shortened to Shef Blues or just Blues. 1998ish. Physcosis I'm 90% was just renamed blues. My theory is that blues is a sativa pheno and cheese an indica pheno of the same plant or seeds. Over 15 years later they have there own identities but once siblings at least. The home of Blues is Sheffield. The home of Cheese and Phycosis I believe is Sheffield too!

The exodus story just sounds the best.

My area has been rife with it since I first moved here about 7 years. Overrated in my opinion but it is extremely smelly and pungent smelling and tasting and is usually strong. Various cuts of the stuff from various breeders has left a decent variety of blues it self. Not been impressed with the Sheffield blues. Always seems to lack smell, flavor and strength compared to local batches

There is no Blueberry in Blues. But back day in the day it was called Blueberry . Then shortened to Blues if that makes sense. But no Dj Short Blueberry.

Not grown the best but this is from a 13 year old cutting from Sheffield. No mother just cuttings and potency is still very good. Strengths not changed apparently. If you smelt it most people would think its dank Exo cheese. It is however Blues. Same thing? Maybe, probably possibly, once definaltey in my opinion!

Blues is not berries but now berries is refered to as blues by people who don't know what they are talking about. It's like cheese a skunk no 1 pheno, there is a write up about it on uk420.

As many times as I find it is a skunk 1 pheno, I can find a thread saying it's a Blueberry cross. I think the only way they will know is a terpene test or test similar.

I thought Haz Monor was an abandoned hospital or something like that where the Exodus Crew were squatting? There is an old documentry, mabey done by the BBC where a reporter went and stayed with them for a while.
I think that the Blues/Livers and the Exodus Cheese are possibly the same strain but different phenos. I'm sure I've read that they were grow from pre 90's Sensi Skunk#1 seeds.

Let me repeat. There is NO Dj Short Blueberry in Sheffield Blueberry AKA Shef Blues, Blues, Livers, Steel city blues. It was called blueberry because of Dj shorts version being so popular in Amsterdam at the time. That's where the confusion lies.

Basically, I think the minute you get hold of this stuff (the proper one) you will know what it is.
