Going For The Green In 2014

Going for the Green in Twenty-Fourteen:

My flight arrangements have been made... My hotel has been reserved...

I am following a similar itinerary to last year's trip:

I will arrive Saturday morning, 12 April and after getting my bags and making a stop to arrange my ticket for the usual side trip to Switzerland, I will head over to Voyagers, hoping to arrive there in the 10am hour.

Later I will likely head out to Almere where I will be staying with my friend Els if everything can be arranged for that.

The 13th and 14th are open at this time but I have some options I am weighing and I am open to suggestions.

I'll leave for Switzerland on 15 April, I'll spend some time at the Swiss Hash Den again this year. My Swiss associate and I will return to Almere on 19 or 20 April and then we will move into a hotel in Amsterdam on 22 April for the final 5 days before I return to my real life.

I hope to meet with any ACD members who might be available during the times I will be in Netherlands.

Latest Developments:

It has been confirmed that I will have a room in Almere Haven for the nights I am not staying in Amsterdam. That means I will be visiting the Chili Kiki Coffeeshop once again.

It has been confirmed that a friend of mine from IRC will be joining me and my Swiss associate on 22 April. My Swiss associate and myself will be checking into Voyagers Hotel while our friend has booked a room at Avenue Hotel on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, literally around the corner from Betty Boop. Now, here's the kicker: the friend who is joining us is not a toker! I told him that if he was going to put himself in my hands as his tour guide he would have to take sitting in a few coffeeshops as part of the deal. He says he's OK with that. I also told him I was going to walk him all over the centrum. I'm trying to work out an agenda to keep us all entertained and within budget. I'm open to suggestions.

I'm looking forward to meeting all good ACD people as well during my stay so I will be attending any scheduled T-n-T sessions.
