Will I ever get a proper stone off any vaporizer??

Can anyone help me please?

I owned a Arizer Extreme 4 years ago, I bought it to quit tobacco in spliffs etc, but I gave up after a few weeks of trying bags and whips as I was getting very little actual stone, no matter what I tried and no matter what type of weed I put in the beast. I think I went up to about 230 degrees, it was getting smokey in the bag. I tried elbow packing the fucker. I could empty two bags and walk around my flat as per normal, it was always like it had next to no effect. Maybe a bit, but nothing like what a spliff does, with or without tobacco. The whole expensive episode left me depressed. I had an iolite first as well, same problem.

At the time I think I moaned a bit about my predicament here and discovered that the vaping process strips away CBD/N, leaving just THC. I could only imagine at the time right or wrong this was the problem. So the fags crept back in.

Now, some years later, I really really do want to quit fags (and spliffs alas) forever, Im approaching senior status and its a health necessity. Ive smoked for 3 decades, my lungs are needing a rest. But I use weed to de-stress from my job, it keeps my Glucoma at bay (it really does appear to work fellow smokers, my eye pressure levels are lower than years ago according to my Optician, who doesnt understand why when my fathers Glucoma is so advanced) plus sleep is not that easy without.

So my genuine question to all you kind folk here is there any advice anyone has about what I can do, with a newer version of the Arizer or a Volcano even, or any other, that will definitely get me feeling fucked
Are any of you actually getting stoned like youve smoked strong spliffs, honestly??
Do I have to adjust to a non tobacco buzz, and be patient, or have I just smoked too much for too long and need to just quit

Or should I just bite the money bullet and get a bloody Volcano, would that definitely do any more than the Arizer??
Reading through the more recent Arizer posts in the dedicated thread, most of you seem to be saying you are delighted/getting very stoned, and so on. So what gives, or does it suit some people and not others. Is a readout temperature of 230 degrees considered not hot enough? Or do I need to accept that nothing gives a buzz like a spliff, or what.??????????????????????????? SOS...

I've had an analogue volcano vape for about 4 years now and it gets me baked everytime, even when spliffs off the best strain struggle to do the job.

Quitting tobacco seems mandatory for all conesours of cannabis, IMHO. The taste, high, and tolerance all improvise in positive ways. I know from experience. I smoked cigs (pack a day) for 13 years. But cannabis was rare (semi-annual) for 7 of those 13. Rubbish in early years and better with age like most folks.
It's been 3 years (this month) since I quit. Sure I slipped half dozen times cuz work stress and no cannabis allowed there! The fuckers!... But that job is gone and so is the stress. Now it's all pure.
To help you with your problem of vape not getting you where you need to be... It doesn't for me either. Everything in your post was exactly how I would have wrote! I like the feeling of smoking. A big pull so nice but cannabis is full of carbon so still plenty we don't need when trying to improve lung health but stay high my solution? A bong, and my trusty amazed pipe. I suppose you could achieve same thing with a good ash catcher but essentially it catches tons of tar because the 110mm pathway. Especially if I clean regularly. It's probably still way more shit you don't need than your get with vaping, but that always leaves me disappointed like yourself, so I've ruled out as option for daily tokes. The amazed pipe fits in standard 14mm bong steam by design btw.

Good luck quitting. The withdrawals sucked for me.

Yeah that's true, as much as I (and my lungs) love my volcano I still hit my bong regularly - there is no substitute for that. I still think the volcano is a good investment though and it's nice to have the choice.

Normally I am using the vape at home in a relaxed mannor whilst having a tea or coffee and I'm hitting the bong near the end of the day. My eyes willl water and i'll take a coughing fit but i'll be well stoned, even after smoking all day every day.

Firstly thank you one and all so far for your suggestions, very much appreciated...
Ideally im trying to give my lungs a proper rest, maybe for good, got the exercise bike so pure spliffs arent really an option sadly as a strategy.

Sleeping well is the fucker for me, if i dont get a proper stone its the shallowest nights sleep in the wrold, life,stress, age etc all help aggravate that, buts its unavoidable seemingly. Thats mostly why I need to find out if there is a proper 'Im fucked' stone to be had with a vape..The other issue is ive becoming a heavier and heavier spliff smoker, I can chain smoke spliffs nowadays all day long, so I think my resistance levels have got out of hand, and that Im smoking a lot of weed, and fags, its a vicous circle. Not complaining, its pleasure not purgatory ultimately but I do feel as though I have become a bit of a slave to it. I mention all this in case it rings true with any others out there also in their mature stage of life.

So there seems to be a consensus that if anything will get me toated the volcano will, but that its a different buzz anyway?..

Hi mate, senior citizen here, I gave up smoking the tobacco the day my work built a shelter across the yard for us addicts. That was the catalyst but also forced on me by noticably decreased lung function, I've always been a pretty high energy healthy person.
However I found neat joints or pipes were getting too much so thats where I started my vapeing about 7 years ago.

I agree the ones I've had dont do mashed but I have some pretty trippy stuff going on regularly with my Q. I only ever use the whip, as I'm sure a lot do, it's a very pleasant and relaxing way to take the herbs I think.
My all day number is a Iolite Wispr and I've been a fan of theirs also from the beginning via a MFLB ok for what it is (collectible, the early numbers maybe ), and a Flashvape which really doesn't suit me other than a quick hit which works.
So the Q isn't for all day, kit to set up and it's static, ok if you are too , The Iolite works for me though.

It's the burning toxins or whatever that pastes you I reckon, not the herb as such. Mind I've got some seriously demotivating stuff in my vape today so big effort required to hit tescos.

you may well be right, ive often worried that I love the slightly giddy tobacco hit as much as the weed stone, and I have simply forgotten what is what over the years, hence why the vape buzz seems so weak. Mind you having said that I was still emptying bag after bag and sucking that whip like a crackhead, and then looking in the mirror to see if I looked fucked, because I certainly didnt feel it. Maybe I need to look at what im saying here, is being mashed all night that desirable long term for ones 50's and beyond? Vapes for me just give a pretty boring background buzz, I have had a volcano and yes it got me probably as stoned as I could get off a vape imo and I ended up chain smoking bag after bag, although a volc is as high as any vape has got me it was not the high I was after. I personally would not waste the money on one again.

The best I have found is where I am now which is pure spliffs, I smoke less and get more wrecked than ever but I am wondering if the 6 months of no smoke at all then returning to just pure might have something to do with that.

I don't know about the Fags as I only used a bit in a spliffs and am not a cig smoker So I don't realy miss that and expect it might be harder with that addiction on top of weed.

Have you used a volc in the dam? If so you will know if its for you or the shelf novelty I found it to be.

Got a volcano digit recently. Solid valve. Does the job pretty well. I fill the chamber completely with bud then vape at 185 and 190. Then I take the bud out, grind it and vape again at 195. Sometimes 2x at 195 depending on the colour of the weed in the chamber. Rinse and repeat as necessary.
That does the job pretty well. However I'd recommend you get a more indica leaning strain if you use it for sleep as vaping (for me) tends to result in more of an 'up' buzz.

If you are still right now using tobacco I'd get on the patches or gum for the moment and start smoking pure. e-cigs or lollipops could be useful for the hand to mouth habit. I wouldn't mess around this this part as tobacco really is a dangerous and addictive drug.

Another option to consider is edibles. All that time spent smoking/vaping could be used differently. I like my volcano but it is rather static and the whole process is rather time consuming if you want to get hammered quickly.
Surely a little something added to dinner means that by the time you've done the washing up you could be flying.

No time used up smoking means more time for other pursuits.
