Going back in June

Post by mitzi »

Hi All

I'm off on my 2nd trip to Amsterdam at the end of June.

Going for my 30th, with the girlfriend and a couple of friends.

Was last over for my birthday last year.

Think I've got my hotel sorted :) going to be staying near Voyagers.

When we were there last year a few of the coffee shops were closing down. Is this still happening?

Has much changed in the past 12 months?

Any new CS to visit?

Any CS to avoid?

Thanks

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

You'll find a few threads about which CS's now have restricted opening hours, and which ones are due to close.

Personally I always pay a visit to 1e hulp, CS137, Utopia, Betty Boop and of course Voyagers when I'm in town.

Flybynite we land AM 27/6/14 and leave on PM 30/6/14

Markymark Thanks just been reading about the ones that are closing, Is a shame :(

We are booked in at Voyagers so happy about that, wanted to stay there last time, but found out about it too late.

I've seen 1e Hulp has got some good reviews on here, missed that last time so that's towards the top of my list.
Loved Utopia gutted that this one is closing :(

Will have a look at the others as well thanks.

You have been posted on the June Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop (your favorite)
and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to show up, if they do you'll have a
T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.

+1 :D

If you get a chance to stop in at Homegrown Fantasy, Ben, or Betty Boop, do so! Unless something changes, they are scheduled to close on July 1, 2014
