cheers folks, look forward to seeing you.
@ loft monkey- wouldn't want to be taking away from the crew of Voyagers, who are great people doing good things, but there's no reason why there can't be another coffee shop with the right approach for you to add to your list of places to visit. Look forward to meeting you.
Just added to the menu tonight- Edelweiss- proper old school.

If you go into the User Control Panel (top right) then click on Profile in the Options box (left side) then Edit Signature you can put that as your signature so it'll be at the bottom of every post.

Things changing here in Mokem.. loads of new stores... change can be good, best of luck to you...

it's nice to make a connection with people who may appreciate what we are trying to do.
Let me be clear now, although I am taking responsibility for representing the place on this forum, the changes that are being made are more of a result of the hard work of my friend Ingi, who is the manager of the place.
We have known each other many years since we both spent time as volunteers at the Cannabis College, and I was very happy to take a job with her last year, when she needed someone.
<...snip...>
With the boss's decision to continue with the license and to allow us to change the way things are done, we realise that we have been given an almost unique chance to run things with what we believe is the right philosophy- nice things for nice people.
We are both very excited to see if we can fulfill our ambitions for the place and hoping that as the year goes on we can look forward to a shop full of happy stoners.
Anyway, enough of me going on, I hope I'll get the chance to bore you with my patter when you come and visit the shop.
Sounds like you've got a great attitude and a great plan. I look forward to stopping by in a few weeks!

I dropped in here yesterday evening after work for a smoke. I had a look at the super lemon haze, cheese and citronella... all smelled and looked LEKKER. I chose the lemon (12) because i've been smoking lots of lemon haze lately and i wanted to compare. It was a really good choice, lovely to smoke and a really nice strong high buzz. The budtender and other customers were very friendly and there was a nice relaxing atmosphere. I sailed out of there pretty happy after a kick ass cup of (free :) thanks) coffee and my nice super lemon joint.

Soooo.....the citronella? Is it a cindy99 cross?

@True playa- the truthful answer is that I don't rightly know.
Only that it is a haze cross from the genetic library of the THC ministry.
It has a more dank smell than the Lemon haze and has a strong cerebral effect.
I smoked two joints before bed last week and lay awake with my head buzzing for two hours till I had to get up and smoke some of my girlfriends hash to send me off to sleep.

i read last week about the new management this place was under and essentially i realy liked what i was hearing about the attitude and the direction that this place was taking then a few days later the menu got posted an it looked brilliant, just up my street.

im back in the city next thursday for a few days so im going to make sure to check this place out, really hoping citronella is still sitting on the menu as it sounds quality

@ Winnie, thanks for coming by, it was nice to meet you. Glad you enjoyed the lemon haze. we're hoping that both it, and the citronella will become staples on the menu.
