420 can be pretty great in Hyde Park, weather permitting, so have fun. We'll send some cheer (amongst other things) from Dam

Great thread, great memories!

I'm definitely in.

Did all the Jay Day marches back in the day-they were insane, like smirks said people hanging out of windows waving support en route; it was like every stoner came out of the woodwork..and we were everywhere!

Tried to organise a meet for last year in the L&C thread but strangely no takers, will be great to have one this year, be nice to meet you again smirks.

That'll be nice FT if she can get into town, looks like it might be a big one this year and sounds like we might get a good ACD gathering. :D

Bumpety bump !!!

Meanwhile in another corner of the multiverse.

I was having a think how those of us coming to the Hyde Park schmokeout could meet up and the best plan seemed to be to have a flag. So I have a 6m telescopic flag pole and although I haven’t designed and made a flag yet I have my best people on it and am assured that one is imminent, at which time I will post an image.
I think the event takes place towards the N.E. corner/Marble Arch area but I would advise against using that entrance as it will be jam packed with tourists, stoners and all the head cases ranting at speakers corner, it’s a Sunday. It would be better to come in further down Park Lane towards Hyde Park Corner, or along the Bayswater Road towards Lancaster Gate and walk through the park.

This is not really my attempt to organise anything but I just thought an ACD T&T in the park would be a gas

Speakers Corner If you haven’t been there is complete loonyville. Religionists, politicos of every colour, tinfoil hat pilots, man its nuts. So that’s the afternoon’s cabaret laid on.

Please bring your refreshments, a comrade will bring one of his bongs and the first one to turn up gets my spare folding chair. :D

i totally forgot about hyde 420.. ill re ask mates with cars (im a lazy git) but odds on will be getting coach (been stopped a few times on underground). so can i get a coach from victoria coach station to hyde park corner or knightsbridge??? (less walking the better). i will get lost straight away which is pretty bad for someone born and raised in lambeth.. so ill be coming early if anyone wants to meet up before hand for a drink or a secluded place for a smoke. i like the idea of getting hammered then going through the loonies and laughing my head off. also theres a good chance ill not spot the big flag you make spider, and i wont remember you from 420 as i was a right mess so ill have a black t shirt with a big ACD logo on it. im about to make some abv cannabutter brownies soon if there good ill bring aload with the last of my cheese.. spider if you bring your Wispr ill bring my solo??

Victoria Bus Station - Hyde park corner
Take the Route Bus 38 from Stop: D towards Clapton Pond. Takes about 10 - 15 minutes.

Directions from Euston please. :?:  8)

Was thinking of taking underground to Hyde Park Corner but maybe another stop or a bus would be wiser?

That is if my partner and I are around and able to attend.

Bus 73 from Euston. I've heard any number of stories about sniffer dogs at Tube stations, looking for easy busts – people taking an eighth to a party, that sort of thing. Never seen them myself, but then I rarely take the Tube. On a day like this they'd either decide to lay off or be out in force, and I wouldn't want to bank on the former.

So you are thinking towards the NE corner of the park for the rally point? Anywhere specifically?
