C'mon people. Personally I find Gapie's energy and enthusiasm make him good company but I can understand this may not appeal to everyone.
The way I see it, he's not a professional tour guide but he can provide an informal, stoned, service to anyone who wants it. He has helped lots of people and many a T&T wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for him. Although he doesn't charge, he hopes for a tip in the form of a smoke. Nobody has to leave a tip but, if you appreciate what he's done for you, then it seems only reasonable to do so.
Arranging to meet up with Gapie is different to meeting up with fellow tourists. He has local knowledge to offer if you want it but isn't running on a holidaymaker's budget like the rest of us.

I made a point of observing Stan before I spoke to him. He left before I did but anyhow..
He made a toke and talk on here with a girl who was in Amsterdam for the day. I by chance happened to be around at the time as I was sat in voyagers, where I was staying when it unfolded. The two had a nice conversation of where they were both from, what the girl was doing in Amsterdam what she did yada yada yada.
Stan rolled his own, she rolled her own and the pair rolled a few more to share before they both eventually said it was time to finish up and they went there separate ways.
From what I saw stan was there to genuinely have a good conversation and although he smoked the girls weed, she smoked all of his too. A nice meet up.
I don't have anything further to say just my observations left s good impression on me of stan and he seemed like a chill guy. If he is to prove me wrong in the future then you can say I told you so but until then I might see stan around

Tbh i havent been on here for long only 3 years and probably havent meet up with gapie as much times as some of you but everytime ive meet gapie 3 times he has been cool and whenever i see him i see other acd'ers all toking and passing.
He rolls a dope dobbing that. Must admit and he has actually passed weed to me without me giving him any of my stash. He even rolled my ice cream at utopia and i was on my way without any awkwardness.
Gapie is cool in my books.
Thats my ten pence spent, i shall fuck off nw.

Been in Stan's company a couple of times I've rolled mine he's rolled his and we both passed our joints to each other, got some good helpful info as well from him. See you in a couple of weeks Stan for a catch up
