Low odor strain

Post by Spammy »

I'm thinking of growing my own herbs. It would be an outdoor experiment in one of those small gardening tents. I read contradictory information about Northern Lights as a low odor strain, some say they only give a very light smell during flowering, while others claim they stink up the place like any other strain. Phenotype variation had probably a lot to do with it, but perhaps some people have first hand experience with the strain and can recommend seedbanks with low odor phenotypes....
Also, how long does the flowering (read stinky) period last?

Thanks for the info

Northern lights is sometimes low odour but like all weeds it depends apparently fruity strains have less of a skunk smell and more fruity, e.g strawberry cough , grapefruit ,mango maybe lemon

Here's 2 links for same subjects maybe someone else has some tips

Thanks for the info! I'll post my results when I have convinced my significant other that growing your own stash is the best thing you can spend your time on

Cinderella99 is supposed to be very low odour during growing, however there are a fair few different ones out there, but if you googled low odor strain I think C99 will be mentioned many a time

Best of luck. Make bad/questionable street deals a thing of the past.
I've picked up breeding/hacking strains as a hobby,
not unlike in my folk's generation, breeding roses.
(just wish I had a huge growing space)

+1
Grew 2 packs of Mosca's C99bx1, and can say that C99/Cinderella is both low odor
and doesn't smell like pot with what little smell it has. Just have a good reason
why your house smells like fruit if someone asks... 8)

Amnesia Haze sure smells alot, but not like any other weed i smelled ever before.
Outdoor in a Greenhouse Tent it could would work when you live in a country with enough sun late enough in the Year.

But why dont you plant something nice smelling in your Garden closer to your Neighbours?
There alot of Herbs you can use but i dont know their English Name,in German its Waldmeister,Liebstöckl and Pfefferminz (should be peppermint)

You cant isolate the Plants in a Greenhouse Tent they still need alot and fresh air dont forget that and seal them in 100% ;)

You could tr Northern Lights Automatic from Royal Quen Seeds, they grow 1,60 with 200 Gramms of Weed in 9-10 Weeks Lifespan. You would get much Weed in short Time, but remember automatics are max 15% thc, more 12%
But since you have enough you can make stronger extracts yourself from it or Hashich too ;)
