Don't give up - there must be a way.....
Re: Rick Simpsons hemp oil
Welcome to ACD, suekell...
Sorry about your condition...
A few members have made the same inquiry over the past few years, and I've yet to read or hear of any positive responses.
I've never seen a shop list hemp oil on their menu, nor have heard of any that is available on the "other" menu that some shops have... shhhh...
Unfortunate that you aren't in the US or able to travel, and excuse me if I inadvertently insult your intelligence, but if you happen to know anyone in the US, perhaps they can help. I don't think the risk of going to jail bothers you in any way imaginable given your situation, but if that is a factor (for others), proper packaging will be key (which shouldn't really be an issue seeing the Rick Simpson's Oil is in liquid form).
You could simply make it yourself. There is plenty of information available on the internet, not to mention that YouTube provides many videos of people making this oil.
I would be remiss if I didn't add my opinion about this oil - I don't have confidence that it does all that some claim, however since ingesting the oil doesn't cause death, I'm not totally opposed. In all honesty, if I were diagnosed with cancer, I'd try anything that has even the slightest possibility of working as advertised, including Rick Simpsons' "Elixir"...
Don't wait, make your own... and don't use Isopropyl Alcohol, that shit is poisonous and lethal.
Use +95%/190 Proof liquid containing Ethyl Alcohol, it's the good stuff, meaning it can be ingested ( perhaps with orange or grapefruit juice..
)
Lastly, if cost factors in with your decision whether to use Iso or Ethyl........................................................what is your life worth? Saving a few quid?
In your search for a cure, or something that will slow or stop the spreading, don't forget to live and try to be happy... do the best you can.

Re: Rick Simpsons hemp oil
From what I've read, Rick Simpson wants you to do extremely long soaks with solvents like isopropyl alcohol... or his preferred solvent, naptha... things I personally wouldn't want to take a chance ingesting. Naptha, or paint thinner! is a known carcinogen.
My personal opinion, which admittedly means nothing, is that while cannabis has medical uses, Rick Simpson is full of shit and does more harm than good to the cause.

Hi Sue, let me help. First of all, even though oil is "illegal" in the Netherlands, many shops carry different varieties but it is expensive. You can take that BHO they sell, heat it slightly, and mix with a small amount of either coconut oil(my preference) or olive oil. I would mix it about 1 part coconut oil to 4 parts BHO. before it cools completely you could suck it up into a syringe and put the oil into capsules purchased at a health food store. This is actually stronger then the RSO and I know for sure it works as well or better.
If you will study the RSO method you could also make your own oil with the flowers you purchase from your guy or in Amsterdam.
Last but not least, I am connected with the underground oil network for patients in Holland and can make arrangements for you to meet with a good person that could help. It is important that you get on the highest dose of oil ASAP. You can reach me at bkantola@gmail.com
Cheers, and good luck. A good attitude and a good diet will also do wonders. Go for alkaline and avoid acidic food.

I would be using a glycerol tincture for cancer.

Re: Rick Simpsons hemp oil
That is an extract from that phoenix tears site ting-
Often people tell me that they would prefer to produce the oil using grain alcohol. For some reason they seem to think that grain alcohol would be safer to use. One of the main problems with grain alcohol is that it is very hard to find alcohol such as this that is 99 or 100% pure.
In most cases it is hard to find alcohol that is over 95 % and usually the other 5 % will be water. Since this water is present, it makes such alcohol less effective as a solvent and at the end of the process there will be quite a bit of water left in the oil that must be evaporated off.
From my experience I do not consider grain alcohol to be any safer than isopropyl alcohol or naphtha to produce the oil. No matter how you look at it, alcohol is poison and when you consume alcohol, it produces a poison high that affects your motor skills and this is known as being drunk.
I am not saying that high grade oil cannot be produced using grain alcohol. Rather I am saying that you should be aware that grain alcohol is no better or safer than most other solvents that are currently available.

95% Grain alcohol is food-grade. Isopropyl alcohol and naptha (Paint thinner!) are not.
Just because Rick Simpson (who has no medical training, he dropped out of school in 9th grade) says something doesn't make it true.
Here's some food for thought...
"Dr Grinspoon said: 'Simpson, who does not have a medical or scientific education (he dropped out of school in ninth grade), apparently does not require that a candidate for his treatment have an established diagnosis of a specific type of cancer, usually achieved through biopsy, gross and histopathological examinations, radiologic and clinical laboratory evidence.
'He apparently accepts the word of his "patients". Furthermore, after he has given the course of "hemp-oil" there is apparently no clinical or laboratory follow-up.'He apparently accepts the "patient's" belief that he has been cured.
'According to Hager, he claims a cure rate of 70%. But 70% of what?
'Do all the people he "treats" with hemp oil medicine have medically established, well-documented cancer or is he treating the symptoms or a constellation of symptoms that he or the patient have concluded signify the existence of cancer?
'And what is the nature and duration of the follow-up which would allow him to conclude that he has cured 70%?
'Furthermore, does this population of "patients with cancer" include those who have already had therapeutic regimes (such as surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy) which are known to be successful in curing some cancers or holding at bay, sometimes for long periods of time, many others?'
And the doctor, whose oldest son died of cancer when he was 11, also issued a warning to people considering using the treatment. He said: 'There are patients who have a medically sound diagnosis of pre-symptomatic cancer (such as early prostate cancer) but who, for one reason or another, eschew allopathic treatment and desperately seek out other approaches.
'Such patients are all too eager to believe that a new treatment, such as hemp-oil medicine, has cured their cancer.
'Unfortunately, this cancer which was asymptomatic at the time of its discovery, will eventually become symptomatic and at that time the possibility of a cure is significantly diminished, if not no longer a conceivable goal. '

Re: Rick Simpsons hemp oil
I like Naptha for making the oil. Grain alcohol will work but not nearly as good. The oil is not as pure or as strong. I have tried ISO a few times and the results are acceptable but not as good as Naptha. After having my oil tested at less then 50 parts per million of solvent, I feel good about furnishing it to patients. I am not a Dr. or chemist either. Western medicine has it's place but currently it's taking everything else's place too. There are lots of good alternatives to pills and radiation and only a fool would not believe that. I don't have cancer and I am not looking for a miracle. I just like to help people that ask for it. I am not a huge fan in the way RS communicates his info, but I do believe in it and have seen it for myself. Even Tommy Chong the old hippy pot head believes his western diagnosed colon cancer was cured with the oil. He stays on a maintenance dose about the size of my preventative dose to keep it at bay. One real example.
Re: Rick Simpsons hemp oil
Tommy Chong admits that he feels better but has never actually been checked to be sure the cancer is gone. That's the point trying to make. No scientific confirmation... Tommy says he is cured and that's good enough for him and Rick Simpson.
Your assertion that grain alcohol can't make as pure an extract as naphtha - what's the science there? Or is this just opinion?
To many opinions, not enough cold hard actual facts for me.

Re: Rick Simpsons hemp oil
Quite a few years of daily experience is good enough for me. There are many studies that confirm the efficacy of cannabis. You are free to believe or not as you wish. I do hope you stay healthy and never have to find out for yourself. The OP has gone quiet. I hope she got the help she was looking for too.ZBeebs wrote:Tommy Chong admits that he feels better but has never actually been checked to be sure the cancer is gone. Far enough it may be better if swallowing it, but Zbeebs you are talking about oil for smoking???
As much as I love Dr Grinspoon, he is just asking questions there because he hasn't seen the evidence.
