can i ask where the shot looking down across 'dam was taken? the one with the hedge running across the bottom. me and a friend were talking about 'vantage points' in 'dam recently and i couldn't think of anywhere other than the top of the oude kirk.

Hi skyrat.
Yeah that pic was taken from the doubletree hilton hotel, on the oosterdok next to central station.
There is a sky lounge on top of the hotel. Get some really good views from there.

Can i ask what effect you're using for the distorted lines? ...I'm assuming they're Photoshopped?

Might stick a couple of my pics on a thread as i never got round to a Trip Report... Gives me an excuse to get a little artsy with my pics.
