Me and the Mrs are in the Dam at the moment staying at the Rookies hotel in the Leidseplein area, excellent location with as you know a coffee shop/bar downstairs and the new restaurant just over the street. The restaurant is now used to serve your breakfast in the morning which is nice, the usual toast, eggs, meats and cheese is ok to start the day off.
Yesterday was mostly spent in the morning downstairs in the coffee shop and at a few other coffee shops then back to the hotel to get blitzed and crash for the night due to lack of sleep from night before. We've spent today at a variety of coffeeshops around the city including The Rookies, Route 99 (Got some nice bubblegum in there and had a large table at the back of the place to ourselves), then off to Rokerij II, (Didn't buy any weed here but had a few drinks) then took a walk around for a bit and headed back to the hotel for food and a chill with a few fat ones.
Went for a stroll to Dam square after the recharge and then ended up at Happy People (Some loud techno going on in there but had a drink and got some white widow). Next was the Old Church i like this place especially if you can grab a seat upstairs by the window looking down at life going on as we did this evening for about an hour, had a few drinks and got some blueberry from the counter not a bad smoke but not as good as i have had over here this weekend so far.
Off out now more shops to come tomorrow, hoping to visit The Dampkring and Grey Area at some point.

The weather isn't too bad to be honest, this morning was a little bit wet but it has cleared up now and it's sunny
We've been around a bit this morning although we didn't get up to grab any breakfast, bit of a heavy night and it's quite noisy around here until 4am in the morning on weekends. We started off downstairs in Rookies and got some lovely Super Polm to kick start our day off it tastes like good hashish should do. We then ventured to the red light district to grab a pizza and have a look in the Sensi Seed shop and the museum, we almost wen't into a little coffee shop over the road which we didn't know the name of but was packed so made a quick turnaround and then found Free Adam accross the road, to be honest the Mrs and i thought this was a bit of a sketchy shop so just had a couple of drinks and a pre roll then left.
We then ended up in Grasshopper 2 just off the Damrak, some people love this place and others hate it, i thought it was a nice cool place to smoke and have a drink. I did buy some Jack Herrer in there as i am a bit partial to some Jack! One thing to be careful of in here though is try and have the correct change for your weed before purchase, the price list said 1.7g for 15Euro i stood there with a 20 in my hand and he wighed out the exact amount for 20 Euro's worth, it didn't bother me too much weed is weed at the end of the day.
Yesterday i did say i wanted to go to the Grey Area for some Martian Mean Green so the wife and i ventured down preisengracht canal with a fat one towards the shop the sun was out by now so it was a nice chilled walk looking at all the houseboats on the way trying to not get mowed down by cyclists and mopeds too!! ha ha. Grey area was packed as expected so thie wife waited outside while i went in only to discover no Martian, so the nice dude behind the counter reccomended C13 instead so i grabbed a G for 12.50E and i must say it's a very spacey fruity smoke and i would reccomend to anybody coming over here in the coming weeks.
Hoping to visit the Dampkring this evening at some point and possibly Global Chillage which isn't too far from Rookies.

*Update*
We haven't managed to venture to the Dampkring this evening but we have manged to have a fantastic meal at the Rookies restaurant/bar/cafe across the road from the hotel/coffeeshop. The wife and i had a main meal each and 2 drinks each for 30E and it was great food (10% Discount when you show your room key).
We then popped into the coffeeshop to have a coffee and sit at the front window watching the world go by, we smoked the polm from this morning and also had a couple of bongs with some jack herrer we bought from grasshopper2.
Should be going to the Dampkring first thing in the morn, so expect an update when i get back home to the UK.

Walked past there yesterday and was dissapointed that it wasn't open, i had a mad time there last Nov with a few of the lads. I liked the atmosphere in there.

Well we are back safely in the homestead now, and what a great few days we've had trekking around the Dam, and a bonus to come home to.
Our final day was spent as follows, i left the Mrs packing back at the hotel (she didn't feel up to much!) while i took a walk to the Dampkring it was about 11am so it was quite empty. I grabbed a coffee and made my way to the cave at the back of the shop to buy some goods, i grabbed a gram of NYC Diesel and some morrocan aisha which i was told resembled Carramello which i liked from the last trip back in Nov, i then made my way to the front of the shop to make a fat Deisel joint. This weed has to be the 2nd best i have smoked this trip, a nice fruity taste with a good high instead of monging you out. (The best being C13 from the Grey Area)
I finished my coffee and then grabbed a pure weed super silver haze joint from the budtender before i left to walk back to the hotel, i got a bit sidetracked and ended up in the Bulldog Palace having a pre rolled from here and listening to some tunes watching the world go past! I then realised the time and thought i had better join the wife back at the hotel, i got back and then sparked the pure super silver haze joint i got from the Dampkring and i can tell you that was some weed in that joint. The wife and i ended up checking out an hour late cos we just floated away into space for a moment ha ha
The good thing about the Rookies is the fact that it's a coffeeshop and hotel rolled into one, we checked out upstairs from the hotel, left our bags with reception and then went downstairs to have a few drinks and finish up our weed and buy a few more pure rolls to set us up for the flight home
Now ready for the bonus part......................................
Now while this was not intentional it is a big bonus, when we got home about 90 mins ago we had some munch before sitting down to roll one with weed we already had at home, i have reached into my laptop back to grab some tobacco and found a gram of Super Polm from Prix D Mi just sitting there staring at me from the depths of the bag, we have purchased so much weed this weekend it's not surprising we never realised we didn't smoke it. I am surprised i'm not sitting in a cell somewhere at the moment, meanwhile we are at home smoking this fine hash from our journey.
Hope you have enjoyed the report
Until next time ( Nov 07 ) and counting.
