Coffeeshop Crawl

Hey,

We're headed to Amsterdam beginning of June, and I've set upon myself the massive task of organising a Cheeba Crawl around the dam.

I'm wondering if anybody has any recommendations of routes or crawls which they've partaken on themselves, or can offer any advice!

We have a group of 8 heavy and experienced stoners.

Distance may be an issue, so we would like to keep it to the Centrum/canal ring area if at all possible.

So far the favourite coffee shops in our group are Popeye's, 420 Cafe, Abraxas, Barney's Farm, Bluebird, Dampkring, Rookies, and Johnny's.

We're looking for quality of weed, nice atmosphere and good prices as some of us are on a budget. (Very specific criteria, I'm aware!)

We're open to ideas, so if anybody has any suggestions, please shoot them through!

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

Start your crawl with a T&T at your first shop, I will post it on the Whos In Town page.

Enjoy

think ocean closed. de graal and yoyo opening times 6pm accept weekend and school holidays (not 100% sure on that though)

red star is tram stop for dam square if your feeling lazy

ignore konningplein webcam thing & nescafe is a bar that allows smoking

C=greenplace. B= basjoe. A= bluebird..

if your planing a mass crawl might think of a few buy and flys first, getting drinks alone in 20 coffeeshops costs a fortune + all the weed/hash + other goodies. plans can fly right out the window once youve had your first pure joint

Ocean is still open (or was a month ago). I fully advise you do the De Pijp crawl - if not the full version then at least get to De Graal, Club Media, Katsu, Yo-Yo and Ibiza. Well worth it not only because of the prices and quality of product but also the general vibe down there I find to be a lot friendlier. And yes Graal and Ocean open at 6pm now.

Thanks for your help so far everyone!

It's certainly going to be an epic day, we're coming up with Pub Golf style rules, with challenges to be completed at certain stops.

Trying to make a game out of it, but it'll probably end up being last man standing as usual in Amsterdam!

I like the look of the De Pijp crawl, but I think we're going to do that a different day.

Going to base the route on the Barney's > Prix d'Ami route, as that's kinda the area/streets we were thinking of!

I'll post back once I've come up with a route and share it with you all to use for yourselves!
