Hello...In July...

Dear Weeds and Weedets, (screw an intro, I need answers...and a better mindset as to what's around me)

A six man team, including myself, will be visiting Amsterdam on July 9-13. Following our somewhat 'Bachelor Party' tour we will be staying in Munich, Germany until July 18. Is there anyone out there that knows what's good as far as strains in Munich, and if so, is it even possible to get anything while we're there too?

Luckily, two of our team members, including myself, have already tasted the fruit of the loins. I visited Amsterdam back in '08. Honestly, I can't even remember the first coffee shop that I visited, somewhere near Marnixstraat. It was down the street from the Hotel Freeland where we ended up staying. Anyone know what it was, or even if it's still there? It had a low basement with a small couch in the back and the seller was at the front near the front door. It was not the best of places.

At any rate, THIS TRIP, will be an amazing time. This time we will be staying somewhere along Amstel, in a houseboat, and I think its the one called: Nova Cura. What's around? Tell me everything. I need a place to chill all on my own. I know the six of us will be trying to stay together as much as we can, but this trip cost me a pretty penny. I need a place to just go, smoke a joint or a bong, and just relax. I work in a very stressful environment at home and this is the trip that I need, but because of the proclivities, all I want, is a cool, non-touristy, coffee shop to rest in and maybe read some of my book or a local newspaper.

As far as goodies, what I'm looking for is really good Hash, and someone said, one of my friends at home, to try the Red Leb. Is that good? Also, what are some other good varieties of dankness going around when we arrive? I heard that I can buy good seeds and bring them back to the states, scott-free? Is this true?

Also, what are some other, little things, that I can bring back home for souvenirs, i.e. trinkets, stuff for mom, gf, grand-mother?

I'm running out of time because I have to go to work soon, but thank you all who are reading and be gentle with me, this is my first post.

Sincerely,

BB.

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the July Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

Browse through some of the newest travelogues, Then when you find shops that you may
like, check them out in the coffeeshop reviews section.

This map ( the map tab at the top of the screen ) https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/Map.html
only covers a small part of Marnixstraat.
This map http://www.ultimatecoffeeshopguide.com/ ... eeshop-map does cover the entire street.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.

Enjoy
