Bit of winter budget traveling during CC time. Nov. 22-Dec. 1. Won't be going to any HT CC functions, been previously, enough for this old timer.
One reason for the return is that Holland is a known commodity for me and relatively safe. Many English speakers also. I was thinking of going to Morocco and the price would have been similar but at the end of the day A'dam seemed like a place to have much more fun and certainly more gezellig.
I bought a guide to South Africa as well as Morocco and SA seemed a bit unsafe. The price over all, again seemed about the same. I would not go for the animals either as the human culture interests me more. Also, A'dam probably has the better buds, for sure more variety. Maybe I'll visit those places in the future, but for now, Amsterdam.
