Bong connoisseurs.. Help needed

Post by weoftenscore6 »

So I'm giving up the evil weed (tobacco) but still maintaining my love for the glorious weed. I've always been a tobacco/weed joint smoker so don't have a lot of knowledge of all things bong related.

Can anyone recommend a good bong (preferably glass) which would be good for daily tokage? I smoke mainly hash and I'm looking to spend around £50 but will stretch a bit higher if it's worth it.

I've smoked a few bongs in my youth but they were all 2ft, harsh as fuck, get battered as quickly as possible, acrylic affairs. Now in my tastes are maturing, along with my age, I'm looking for a smoother experience. I'm after a fine malt whiskey as opposed to a flaming sambuca

I'm based in the uk so anywhere that ships to these shores is a must.

Any advice greatly appreciated!
Many thanks

I've been doing a LOT of googling (my god there are a lot of bongs out there, and they are quite complicated!)

What are everyone's thoughts on this:

Worth it?

Sorry for being a noob, but I wanna make sure I dont waste any money buying a piece of crap! :)

Are Roors worth it? Obviously they are nice bits of kit, but are you paying a bit for the name too?

Weedstar are good value and I'm pretty sure they will have some models with diffusers to cool them. My personal preference is a pure spliff smoked through a smallish bubbler

Thanks for your replies everyone! Really appreciated.

In the end I went for one of these:

A couple of good recommendations for weedstar and a bit of a discount helped sway me by bringing it in on budget.

I had a look at those hurricanes - my word!! they are things of beauty aren't they!? Bit out of my price bracket, but when my euromillions numbers come in, I know what one of my first purchases will be!

I would recommend something like this:

http://www.grasscity.com/eu_en/beaker-b ... -30cm.html

It hits hard, has ice notches for cooling down the smoke, and has really thick glass. Unless you drop it off your roof or unless it lands directly on the bowl/slide, it should be able to handle the kind of falls that happen when you get a bunch of stoners together. I'd also recommend adding a carbon filter for even smoother hits. The downside is that it shows the resin buildup, but that's just more incentive to keep it clean with regular alcohol washes.

Edit: didn't see you already bought something. Either way, I'd recommend getting the carbon filter. It does make a huge difference.

I would pick up a small bong from a souvenir shop over there to enjoy smoother toke. You could also pick up a hi-top before you head over there. Its the best way to enjoy A-dam quality from a water bong and its soooo practical. I love mine and enjoyed it at the Cannabis cup last week, then just left it there when I left. Hits really nice too
