Thanks guys, but these 'mighty' prices are just not realistic in a market filling up with more and more affordable and effective portable vapes.

 looked good till I saw the +$400 price tag.
I have that exact grinder pictured with it, though.

Indeed, I can get 3 of my perfectly efficient Flowermates for this price, and still have some change left over AND not have something that looks like it's from a 70's episode of Dr Who!

Go back to your Zeichenbrett guys

lol… yawn… excuses excuses…

dude… i make more than enough, and if i want more, i'll just start more businesses (which is what i'm doing now)… and because the money doesn't last forever… I invest into income producing assets so I don't end up in a 'fixed income' situation.

its called being smart with your money. :-)

but shit… you can sit on the computer and post here all day?

you can also make money.

TONS of stuff you can do man… tons… i don't wanna hear that bullshit.

you can sell stuff on amazon.

ebay

do simple fiverr.com gigs

elance.com - tons of shit there

odesk.com - same

only if you wanted to make some extra cash. :)

Catching my first buzz with a Crafty
(homegrown green haze x thai)

Initial observation is...

No popcorny taste... vapes very convection-y...
much more desk-top-like than my MFLB and Thermovape.
After a few goes with those two I can't wait to get back to a desk-top unit.
I don't get that at all with the Crafty.

Matter of... I think I like it better than the Plenty, but not the Volcano digit.
If I was going to limit myself to one S&B vaporizer- it'd probably be the
Crafty, based on the combination of price, flexibility/portability, and vapor quality.
It ain't cheap, but these S&B products last a long time.

I do like the small bowl- to help with being econo, bud-wise.
Repeated fillings of the easy valve bowl'll go through the grams
(the coffeeshops gotta love that 8) ).
Here's a bowl-size comparison chart...
Image
columns 2-6 are: Volcano dig, Volcano clas, Mighty, Crafty, Plenty

It's very portably sized, one of the reasons I chose it over the Mighty.
And I already had a USB battery-powered charger...
Image
...to fit in another pocket for extended power needs.

re: the app
The only android device I have here is an Amazon Fire TV- which I'll see if I can sideload
the android Crafty app onto. The iPhone app is still under review, with no pending release date.
S&B submitted the app for review right as Apple was releasing new product and iOS8-
pretty bad timing, as there's bound to be a huge queue.

My iPhone 4 won't work with it anyway (app works beginning with the iPhone 4S),
so I'll have to use an iPad. It works just fine tho', for me, as is. I'd maybe drop the initial temp
to 178C (from the default 180C), and the high temp to 192C (from 195C)...
it'd be just a bit of tweaking.

The cool part, just like their desk-tops, is the light will turn red while it's getting to target
temp, and green up at temp. Draw very slowly and the Crafty will maintain it's temp,
but draw faster and it lights up red 'til it gets back to the target. The electronic precision
of their temp control is pretty bitchin', and brings the unit into a higher quality bracket.
It's actually more precise than the non-electronic volcano classic and plenty.

Here's a review, with a link to a size comparison to other popular vapes
http://www.reddit.com/r/vaporents/comments/2jo5n2/

'bit more after more use (e.g., need to jump across the Columbia into Washington and buy some
concentrates to try with it).

cheers

PS S&B Oakland ships free next-day (UPS) delivery on new vaporizer (sets)

got almost 30 hits from the Crafty (little bastard!) yesterday before the battery gave up
using flowers @ default 180C
goodness me, might the Mighty last for a whole weekend?

flavor wise- still not a lick of conduction-oriented popcorn-y taste
it's pretty danged 'cano-y, and very low draw resistance
the mouthpiece only gets a little warm after around 5 straight hits
the vapor itself never feels hot
even browning of the ABV, no burnt specks

cheers

ps can't wait to get an app so I can turn down its not-so-stealthy bright/flashing lights,
and I don't need vibrate. may be able to squeeze out a little more batt life making these adjustments.
