Post by Chilled »

Hey guys,

Just joined today!

A few of us are going to Utrecht 2nd til 4th Jan 2015 and I wondered if anyone could please advise what the best coffee shops are? .. we usually do Amsterdam but we fancied a change this time 8)

Many thanks to anyone that can share some local info.

Happy Friday!

Cheers,
Chilled

I strongly second T'Grasje, good quality, selection and vibe, if they still have the outdoor silver haze then it's a must, Lemon Royal was also bangin'...

T'grasje would be my recommendation too, the best in Utrecht. If there are no seats, just head back to the center and enter one of the shops ahead. I remember Wietstok doing nice fresh space cakes, but i've been there some time ago(8-9 months) so things might've changed. For me the first stop there is Andersom, but maybe it's more from the sentimental side of me(it was my first cs that i visited in 2007 or 08)

Utrecht coffeeshop map - http://thekaart.nl/en-netherlands-utrec ... 458_0.html

The newest menu I have for Utrecht is October 12, 2014.

I could use updated menus from any of the Utrecht shops.

Enjoy

Some say Andersom is a very touristy shop. But each time i'm there i see the same locals hanging out downstairs. And their smoking area is really nice, done 2 ways. I enjoy sitting in both of them.

You have been posted on the January Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.

Utrecht incoming very soon!

Does anyone know if you can use a little normal tobacco when smoking in the coffeshops in Utrecht, or do you have to smoke without or with herbal tobacco.

Thanks so much.
