In Amsterdam 7th - 9th November

Post by KrazeUK »

Hi all! I will be in Amsterdam from the 7th-9th of November. This will be my 6th visit to Amsterdam in the 2 years that I have been legally allowed to go (being only 20 years old).

Having been so often in such a short period of time I like to think I know my way around the Dam. I usually hit up some of the most talked about Coffee Shops on here eg. 1e Hulp, Voyagers, Green Place etc. I have to say one of my favorites would have to be Paradox so I'll be planning on going there at some point.

I have also seen that someone on here posted about using an app called 'Pin Drop' that allows you to drop pins on places/people/things you may need. I've put the majority of coffee shops and places I like to eat on there so it should all be easy to go from place to place.

I have a few questions to ask first of all:

1) Has anybody been to Popeyes lately? I know the last time I went, I spent a ton of money in there (Pink Kush @ €17.50g and Vanilla Kush @ €15g) and wasn't really impressed with how either of them smoked at all, which was a great disappointment.

2) Does anybody know a nice place to go for some Ribs or Burgers, ideally at a cheap-ish price? Last time I went to one of the Argentinian Steak Houses that I see on EVERY corner of EVERY road, and was quite disappointed as expected.

3) Are there any obscure hazes out there at the moment that I should take note of? I know that last time I got Strawberry Haze from Easy Times Coffee Shop and it was superb! €14g as well I think is reasonable!

----

Anyway I will be updating this post with pictures and stories when I am back so keep your eyes peeled. I'm going with 5 friends (4 females, and 2 males including myself) who all smoke like chimneys so should be a good laugh!

Thanks.

You have been posted on the November Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
There is one on each of your first two days.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.
