Amsterdam 13th-21st

I will be at the Kantor festival 14th-16th so won't be smoking that much at first.
After that I will be a the Bulldog Hostel 16th-21st. I imagine I will come to the T&Ts at Voyagers if they are happening, there may be the possibility of guesting a couple of people into the Residents Bar back at the Bulldog - but no guarantees obv.
I am also planning to check out some squat restaurants - they are mostly vegetarian, but there is one on a boat (Javakade, about 30m walk from Voyagers) that serves organic meat on Wednesdays. I think it's kinda cool to check out a bit of the wider culture, and they serve cheap dinners (8 Euros for the one I mentioned, others tend to be cheaper).

You have been posted on the November
Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.
Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!
By default I link your posting to
your profile page here on ACD.
I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.
You can do a little practice shopping on the
Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.
Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.
Enjoy

Have you got any more info on the squat restaurants? Particularly the vegetarian ones?
Thanks

The one I mentioned does vegetarian plates for 7 Euros - open Weds and Fri.
Others - I think these are all vegetarian and probably vegan.

I am sure I am missing some, but basically there is somewhere every night. Bear in mind they don't tend to be dead central, and you tend to need to book on the day.

It's possible, but most of these places have been running a good while; if shit was doing people wrong word would be out methinks.

plus theres no animal products (meat fish dairy) etc so the only thing you could get sick off is some mouldy vegetables which is usually easy to tell

Although I'm a carnivore, I've been on a detox for over 5 weeks now - no meat/fish, no beer, no chocolate, no deep fried food etc. I'll be off the leash a bit, but I know that if I don't get some veggies that I'll end up with a sugar hangover - the quality of your highs is about more than just you smoke.

I like volkskeuken at various squats when I'm in Amsterdam.
Always delicious, never been sick from the meals. The food is often vegan sometimes the night is soup only. I just check the sites.
Nice bonuses like sweets for a little extra and beer for a few euros
Joes Garage is another spot. Very warm communal and familial vibe there for their "Volkseten Vegazulu" nights.
Enjoy
