Me and the Hubby will be in Amsterdam from the 23rd and we have this crazy idea to do a huge tour of the coffeeshops lol so the goal is to visit at least most (if not all

lol) of the coffeeshops around Amsterdam. We know the well known ones like Voyages, greenhouse, Bulldog etc but is there any little hidden gems a bit further out the city? which would any of you's recommend?
Also would 100 euros spending money p/d be an ok estimate? It's been over 4 years since we've been so cant really remember what the prices are like, though I know its pretty expensive in places

Lot more if you are thinking of doing a proper tour.
There are well over 100 coffeeshops to get by, thats a lot of eating, walking, tramming and exploring which is expensive. 120/150 a day for 2 i reckon will be enuff.

if you are serious about all of that smoking and touring. it can easily cost $100 to $200 per person (especially if you like good food) plus your sleeping arrangements…..be prepared.
..of course much depends on your stamina and how much you can smoke and remain standing!: >
Check out the Amsterdam Map just to see the main city shops and map out your crawl.

Thanks everyone! Looking at our savings we can probably push it up to 160 ish lol
we staying in an apartment on Nieuwmarket which is weed friendly so even if we cant smoke in all the coffeeshops we can take it back and hav a good sesh in the apartment lol and we'll be bringing a few bits from home like instant noodles and stuff to munch on to keep food cost down a bit (at least that's the plan haha)

We smoke on a daily basis but we're definitely not hardcore smokers

Hi, welcome to ACD. Will be around during the cup as well. Hanging all over. Voyagers will be jammed, yo.
I see as a new member of the forums you will attract some attention....
a word to the wise.....
If you ask nicely I'm sure Gapie will show you around as many coffee shops as you like. He won't need paying as he can get kickbacks from the shops he takes you to as well as mooching a little of your stash. TBH it is a small price to pay for his services.
It's not very honest practice of him to keep that stuff hidden but that goes with the territory of his chosen occupation really and not really his fault. The problem with most touts is they just take people to shit coffee shops that give the best kickbacks and the customer gets shafted.
To his credit Gapie does steer folks toward decent shops but you won't get the whole story from him. You'll just get what he likes.
TBH IMHO you are better off having a TnT with some ACD folks and doing an impromptu crawl afterwards. Most ACD folks only have the same agenda as you do, to have a bit of fun and look around. I think having a tout show you around changes the experience somewhat as opposed to doing it yourself. Anyway let's have some Tnt's while you are here. My nephew and I will be touring the shops looking to acquire some of the cup entries if possible and looking for hidden gems ourselves. I know a few as it happens and hope to discover more next trip.
