well this was another first for me as i sent 2 dvd's and split my goodies between the dvd's. I double packed the contents and wrapped in clingfilm (id forgotten to bring some so bought some locally and its the same quality as here so id do the same in future) and then wrapped the dvd cases in cling film too....
sent priority mail on friday and arrived on the monday.... happy dazzzeeee :-D

the only other times id exported had been on car trips

Gonna be thick here.... :?

When you post it back, do you go to the post office and post it or just buy stamps in the shops and chuck it in the closest post box.

I am thinking about this and will be using a false name on the envelope, as I was thinking if C&E were to write to me, they'd use that name and I'll just send it back unopend with NOT KNOWN AT THIS ADDRESS wrote all over it:lol:

Plus it is going to a friends address. There consent of course

you can do either, I took mine to the PO as I wanted to post it priority (faster delivery times).

I've heard that some of the PO boxes around the center are too small to take DVD envelope's, tbh I didnt look tho....

Im planning on trying this same method,
1 or 2 smelly proof baggies, dvd case, jiffy bag.

Does the cling film make that much of a difference?

Also, most important part. As I don't have time to post it from a post office, how many stamps did you guys put on it (i know priority goes by .75cents).
I know it depends on weight, I don't think i will be mailing more than 7-10 grams.

Just buy a 'book' of stamps from a tobacconist. It has an English explanation of how many stamps to use for which service weight. I usually take the free ferry across the river at the back of Central station to the more residential zone to post my mail.

I usually fly to dam from a local airport, and have never had any trouble coming back into the UK.

The way I figured it, the first time I wanted to bring stuff back was: put it in my suitcase, the dogs will find it; put it in my backpack and the scanner will find it; only option, under them thar ballz. Fine through customs Dutch end, had a minor worry when I was asked to unlace my boots and take 'em off - but got away with it. Real probs started 1/2 hour into flight, when I became convinced I could smell the weed between my legs as it heated up. In fact, the person behind me could smell it too, I heard them say so.

Conclusion - don't tuck smelly weed under da sack wrapped only in the bag they sell it in. The more it gets crushed, the more it smells, the more paranoid you get. Find a good wrap that will last 2 hours plus, stick to hash and packed grass (thai, jamaican), no skunk. If you want to get skunk home, find another way.

I've carried over an ounce back on me before, this was before they put the body x-ray scanner thing in though, I used to wrap everything up in 3/4 layers of clingfilm then put that in a smelly proof bag then I'd stick it in a money belt and just walk through, you can't guarentee walking through the old metal detector machine anywmore which is why I changed tactics. ;)
