Regarding tobacco, I always use it with my joints in dam (mainly rolling baccy myself), just be sure to put it away once used. I've had a few encounters in Greenhouse where they told me not to have it out on the table, nothing about using it in my joints. I think they just don't want it on the table for legal reasons.

Regarding the Coffeeshops, I'd choose Rusland. They usually have very nice White Russian at a decent price too! Budtender is always more than happy to help there too! For your wife, I'd say to choose some 'Enemy Of The State' from there. I think thats high in CBD which is good for anxiety and paranoia so she shouldn't have any problems, but as someone said before tell her to have a couple of tokes, then give it 5-10 minutes before having more. Also, having a fruit drink will always help keep sugar levels up and reduce the chance of a whitey

Rusland is pretty good, as others have said. And if your wife is new to cannabis, choose a milder variety(just ask the bartender for something; CBD-rich strains are good, like Kraze said.)

As for the joint-rolling: have you considered just rolling with tasty, healthy cannabis instead of mixing it with nasty-ass, cancer-causing tobacco? If you were a smoker and you've given it up, it's very easy to see your years/months of being tobacco-free go up in smoke(pun intended.) Nicotine is highly addictive; I've known people who've quit for years and decide to have "just one" - a week later and they're back to a pack a day. Plus, it ruins the taste. If you don't wanna smoke a huge joint, just roll a small one.

Last time I went I rolled pure joints and completely underestimated the super lemon haze from Greenhouse Namaste. Shared a joint with my old man. He had a full on whitey the poor fool

How do you keep it burning?

Im going to 'dam with my new girlfriend (complete non smoker) in September... Im an experienced smoker here in UK (so with tobacco) but shes from the USA and when I was there, she got me a bud and she had some in a pipe and was fine...then I rolled a joint with some tobacco and well she couldnt stop coughing as she wasn't used it to, so didn't enjoy it.

Whenever I have rolled pure joints though they never stay burning..better to just get a pipe?

Just relight it. That way, you can take your time smoking it and, if you haven't smoked in a while, you can take a few tokes, put down the joint then give yourself a few minutes to see how strongly it affects you; that way, you don't smoke too much and have a whitey. If you still want to smoke more, light her up again. If not, put the joint in a tube and light her up later. The reason it keeps burning with tobacco in the joint is that tobacco usually has chemicals added to it to make sure it never goes out. You can light a cigarette, take a puff, put it in the ashtray and it will burn down to the filter. That's not natural.

Pipes are nice, too, though. 1e Hulp sell some real nice but cheap ones(though the glass is really thin.)

Just want to make sure in case I forget to stop at a shop on the way to the hotel in my haze of excitement....

I should expect to find or be able to buy some skins and a grinder at either Rusland or Basjoe yeah? The last few shops I went to had it all on the side for use bar one!

Yes, just about every coffeeshop will have (usually free) rolling papers and tips and will let you borrow the house grinder.

Went to Basjoe last night, not great. Was busy, two dreadlocked bud tenders, one of whom (the one we dealt with) had a real bad attitude, rude etc. The other guy looked a little happier to be there. Should have just walked out and gone to Rusland to be honest. Basjoe have a sign on their menu - no bringing in weed from other coffeeshops, weed is only shown in 2 and 5 gram amounts.

Anyway, bought some AK-47, didn't do much to be honest. Going to go find something better today.
