I'll second what Bleak says about the mighty, it's
a beast of a machine.

aesthetically it looks a bit mad max. Fortunately he was about at the time.

The Mighty is in the premier league on the portable side. If it's well made and can maintain vape quality over time then definitely worth the price.
All Vapes especially portables, which I know in my case get a hammering, will give up the ghost sometime. I just like to think it's paid me back in enjoyment and I've had some replaced on warranty, so I'm pretty happy with what I've had so far, which have been mainly gas powered Iolite and Wispr, which I like for their true portability, I mean off grid if you've got a can of gas in your bag. The Flowermate so far is doing well and for it's performance over 420 in Amsterdam alone, was a bargain at £60. For me a really decent machine at a sensible price, and they have nice colours.

@ spidergawd - lol what you said was a bit ambiguous…. anyone can interpret that in their own way…lol
what i'm wondering is this… is it THAT much better than the airizer solo?
I love that thing and it works great for me.
but if the mighty you guys are saying is THAT much better…. it'd be worth giving it a go.

I'm not sure what was ambiguous

. I'm a pensioner Dconstrukt, comfortable enough in our simple way, but with a limited income so for me £60 is a sensible price is for something which is after all disposable.
If I was a money man I would up my game I'm sure
The Arizer solo and the Mighty, I cant actually compare them as I haven't had them side by side so to speak, but my limited exposure to both tells me they are both worthy machines for vaping good herb.

I'm a bong-man, complete newbie when it comes to vaping, so i can't give you any proper comparison dconstrukt. I was just amazed at rips i've been toking, constant huge rips from Mighty. Flowermate was a bit weaker when it comes to this but it's much less pricey.

thanks guys.
i love the solo
so its just a matter of if the mighty is THAT much better.
then it'd be worth a shot.
but its gotta really be better than the solo...
i'm sure i can find a discount coupon online to get it for cheaper.

I've never used a solo, but i'd like to try one sometime, since you, Stu and Q value it so much.
And you can attach it to a bong:D

Apologies for the delay.
I promised some vape reviews for the upto £200 mark so here goes, please bear in mind that these reviews are biased on a personal basis as I tend not to vape above 190c/374f and I'm looking to use a water cooler via an adaptor. I won't go in to all the gubbings and techniques but where relevant I will.
Flowermate V5.0s
Cheap as chips at around £60 - 3 preset temps 195c/385f, 205c/400f and 212c/415f, it vaporises. I can fit a mouthpiece adapter for water cooling. The down side for me are the temps being too high. Despite running it in over several empty heats it was still off gassing plastic faint plastic smoke. Returned to seller.
Flowermate V5.0 Pro
Slightly larger and more expensive than the V5.0s at around £100 - set your own temp +1/-1 between 40c/104f and 230c/446f. Nice digital display with heat memory recall chip, slightly longer heating sessions than on the V5.0s. Mouthpiece adaptor for water cooling fits this too. Vaping was better for me with this one as I could go lower on the temps but did find the temperature to be somewhat erratic, it felt like it was overheating at times and my ABV sure looked that way. Again, ran this in on several empty heating cycles but could still see a faint whisp of plastic smoke rising from the mouthpiece. Returned to seller.
E-LIVI8
A custom OEM of the Flowermate V5.0s costing around £110. It functions in the same way as the FM V5.0s but its temps are different at 172c/340f, 185c/365f and 216c/420f. This was a smooth vape at the 2 lower temps tried. The modified chamber does seem to make a difference and the flow control makes it great with the water mouthpiece adaptor. The unit I received off gassed after 3 empty heating cycles. Like I said before the chrome was very appealing to me and with all things considered kept the unit.
Flowermate V8.0
This is a pretty big unit, costs about the same as V5 Pro, functions in the same way the V5 Pro. OLED Display and heat memory function. This again was inconsistent with heating as I could feel the difference in vapor heat and the resulting abv was proof of that. This has a slide in mouthpiece which I didn't like, it got very dirty quick too. Now this one failed my off gassing test badly, to the point I gave up after 6 attempts. Returned to seller.
Smiss are an up and coming company, with time they will continue improving the Flowermate product and get round these little issues. Quality control stickers from China are what they are at the moment (no race connotation intended).
There are so many portables to choose from and I suppose without trying them all you will never find the perfect beast, unless you are filthy rich in which case you are probably already grinning.
I'm waiting on a FLYTLAB H2FLO unit to arrive, will update you once I've blasted out some clouds with it
Cheers
Cloudy

damn…. treetop….
is that much better than the airizer solo?
6 months and needing new parts? yikes…. that scares me especially since the unit is like $300+
airizer is super easy to clean.
the solo battery went but i got a replacement and 99% of the time i use it at home so i have the plug into the wall so no battery is needed.
