What shops are most worth a visit along Haarlemmerstraat?
(Barneys, Blue Velvet, Pink Floyd, La Grotte, Popeye, Picasso- Also Rokerij, Siberie and Doors around the corner)

Any of them have anything good on the menu at the moment? I've heard good things about the barney rubble @barneys and mothers finest/umma gumma @Pink Floyd.

We're staying at Hotel My Home a few doors down from Barney's and we'll be hitting the Haarlemmerstraat for our ealy morning/late night smoking.

thanks

our group really enjoyed siberie just around the corner, seemed more like a locals place. reasonable prices on the menu too. great to waste an afternoon in away from the tourists.

I liked Siberie, its pretty spacious...I cant remember the menu very well tho. I normally pop in to popeye if Im in the area...always friendly and a nice place to chill in the day time + free internet. Rokerij is a pretty groovy place with nice decor and seating. I cant remember Pink Floyd at all but Im sure ive been.

As for the others Im not sure Ive been. I think it was Blue Velvet thats just changed onto another Greenhouse...***correct me if im wrong pls***... which would be worth a try?

Siberie is a good one.
Rokerij 2 is also another class act- try the Rokerij Haze- nice weed.
On Haarlemmerstraat itself, Popeyes is pretty good, with their breakfast, as is Barneys.
I was also in Pink Floyd in November, and had some of their Umma Gumma, which didn't really do much for me, but then I'm not a big fan of blonde hashes. I believe that it has now been taken over by the Dampkring people.
Let us know.
