k anyone heading over in November ,, im looking at 10 days maybe ,

Hi i'm pretty new to this forum,
but I was reading a lot of messagea for years as a guest though.

I'm traveling to Amsterdam up to 3 times a year. I do that for 15 years now.
This time will be the first one, I'm doing a solo trip. I was thinking about hosting some toke and talks, or just find some other People who like to have an easy time in Amsterdam.


I will be in Amsterdam from Nov 20th. To 27th.

I'm not a youngster anymore and not interested in discos, clubs, and so on. I'm interested in Architecture, culture and of course smokes.

I became a dad, and smoking in my hotel room is important to me, so that's one reason I'm traveling alone. (Without wife and kid).

I'm german but have some family members in the u.s. So my english is propably not that bad.

So if you are still interested in meet someone who is respectful and open minded,
just let me know, I will be definately in Amsterdam on the mentioned dates.

You have been posted on the November Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!


By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.

Here's my suggestion,
why not setting up a t&t for nov. 25th at paradox arround 3pm
and a second one for nov 26th at la tertulia arround 1pm?

Let me know if it's O.K. and I'm going to contact lemming to set up these t&t's on the whoisintown page.

I'm staying in a private appartement near central station.
This is my 48th. trip to amsterdam and I know the city very well. I always try to avoid the "touristy shops" and after the years I have my favourite hangouts. (Which maybe not my favourite purchase places).

I'm very flexible about time and location for a t&t, here's a couple of my favourite hangouts:

paradox, la tertulia, 1e hulp, het ballonetje, funky monkey, rookies...
