Tien to air controversial documentary

AMSTERDAM - Television channel Tien is going to broadcast a controversial documentary from British Channel 4 on the preparations for the first "masturbate-athon" for charity held in London last August.
The documentary talks with two American sexologists involved in the campaign, which was organised to raise money to fight AIDS.
The documentary will be aired on Tien on 13 March at 9.30 p.m.
Christian democrat CDA MP Joop Atsma said the programme was "completely absurd" and "tasteless."
"I get the impression that Tien in continuously trying to push the boundaries of what is acceptable. If it were possible, I would ban these kinds of programmes."
Atsma says he will soon meet to talk with the broadcaster about these kinds of topics.
