@ kingbee - ya I feel better about the purchase after reading your comment… ron that mighty with that potent shit you've got… man… HOOK US UP! I want to be on that planet too! :)

@ adamster - I can't even believe i'm about to type this…lol... but I agree with ron 100%.

glad you're happy with your little e-cig.

But if you're going to compare an e-cig to the mighty… then… ROFLMFAO!!!!

Dude… sorry… you MUST stop smoking up…

weed is not your friend… lol… it's obvious to even ron that you are seriously lacking any form of brain cells as you type this…and... it's pointless to have any further conversation with you ...because you're obviously on some other planet. :)

I'm sure if I was someone else telling you this you be running to get one ( no need to listen) ill sit here n laugh at you while I'm making cloud after clouds of vape smoke while you try and get a small puff of air

Quality thread.

My mighty is still chugging away nicely. Had it 8 months now. Ordered direct from Storz and Bickell. I'd like to echo what Ron said about dealing direct with the makers. They are good to deal with as well I find.

A few tips....

The elbow grease that builds up in the mouthpiece area can be harvested and recycled.

Buy replacement screens, the car charger and spare tops. That way you can just screw off one and put on the new one. After about 6 months of use the charger went and ha to be replaced as well.

Oil, on a pad in one of these is heaven.

Welcome to paradise Uncle Ron, glad you came over to the vape side. 8)

Been a while since i have been on here or been to Amsterdam. Health went downhill fast after the last trip in 2013 that travelling any distance was a no no. Now that i am on the mend, relatively, then it is back to the herb

I wanted a portable vapouriser and went for a Puffit, excellent stealth unit but very little vapour. Moved onto a Flowermate, bit better vapour but got gunked up way to quickly so moved on again. Done some research on here and other places and found the Storz and Bickel Mighty gettiing good feedback. Found one on Amazon and plunged for the Wear and Tear kit as well. Ordered at 1am on Sunday morning, arrived 5pm on Monday and high as fuck by 520pm Got the unit on its own for £240 plus £30 for the wear and tear kit.

Now ordered another for a friends birthday as she fell in love it first time. After using the Mighty she gave up combustion pretty much on the spot and she was 100% joints for the past 20 odd years.

Supplemental question, how is the Mighty for travelling through Customs purposes. Does a good clean suffice or would it be better to dump the mouthpiece and use a new 1 when home?

Thanks

Grant

Hi man - good to see you 'up and about' again. Watch out for them clouds.

I'd get the 3 pack of replacement tops and screw on a fresh one when you get there and then chuck it when you leave.
Other options, give it an alcohol bath and a swab out before you return, do nothing and put it in checked luggage is the option I've used in the past but I might start getting a bit more careful when travelling now.
I find the bits to look out for are the grooves where bits of weed can get stuck deep inside. Also around the chamber bits get stuck around the sides and need cleaning out more than the rest.

That's a very good idea! There's some debate on the topic of taking vapes through customs in this thread https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewt ... 43&t=31048

I hadn't even thought of buying a spare 'cooling chamber' (as stors and bickel call it) in order to help with safer customs passage. Wish I'd thought of that earlier!
Good one! :D

Exactly what I did, bought the 3 pack of replacement tops and will just throw the used one before travelling home.
I also plan on replacing the screen in the chamber and cleaning the chamber with alcohol.

I agree with most thats been saved here.
I also suggest ordering directly from the manufacturers if possible. Also instead of ordering from the manufacturers right away, message or call them saying you are still curious about the functionality and that you will report on your experience (thus, implying that you are some kind of blogger or opinion leader.) Most manufacturers will be more than happy to offer you a generous discount on your first order.

Fake vaporizers are hard to spot. Some parts are identical to the originals. The fake mighty is really well faked as well.
I see this becoming a big issue, because too less people know about that.

Its also a SERIOUS health hazard. Ive seen fake vape pens which have chemical smoke coming out while heating, even if nothings loaded in it.

lol…

all the seals were there on the box… just like storz tells you.

you guys are idiots…lol... you can just call them and ask them if the site/place you're buying from is an authorized dealer.

they gave me the thumbs up.

case closed. duh. :)

the unit is really nice.

made well.

the packing tool takes a bit of getting used to so you fill it up correctly. (i overfilled it the first time)

vapor was real nice. had it at 365F

a bit different than the solo.

I need more sessions with the mighty to get the feel of it, but so far so good.
