17th and 18th of Dec, any recommonadtions ?
Hi ACD, I'm new to post, have been a reader since a long time and planned each one of my trips with this helpfull forum. Now I'm back at the Dam with my family but don't have lots of time walking around for cs's. My goal is it, so buy some good tasting buds, Silver Bubble or Lemon Bubble was always a winner. But I missed the awesome taste of the good old NYCD red grapefruit pheno any tipps for this one ? I also plan to drop by Katsu and Solo for their hash (NTB and Red Lebanese) still look for a good easy black afghan. Hope that Utopia still have their sour kush and Voyagers a good batch of lemon bubble. Any tipps from you guys on what else I can look out ? I really look for taste most. Hope I get some info and wish you all a blessed sunday evening
Cheers

Grab a bag of Somari wherever you see it - Old Church on the Amstel has it at the moment - Utopia often have it. 1e Hulp also.Grendel wrote:But I missed the awesome taste of the good old NYCD red grapefruit pheno any tipps for this one ?
It's the closest I've found.
Re: 17th and 18th of Dec, any recommonadtions ?
I believe all three of the "Dampkrings" - 2e Kamer/Dampkring II (same menu owner), and "Original Dampkring" (split off a few years back, different owner and menu), - currently have Somari on their respective menus, so you could also check any of those locations. I'd say go to Spui area, and check Original Dampkring and 2e Kamer, as they're located quite close to one another.

Thanks everyone for their answers, I have Club Media on my list of CS's for Somari but will check Dampkring for sure in Spui Area (I'll pass this during Friday). I saw Amnesia had NYCD on their menue, will check it as well and of course, I'll post a review of all the strains I find. Glad I asked you guys.

Hey, just a quick reply on the goodies I bought, I haven't smoked all of them now, but most of it.
Greys Area
Silver Bubble, very nice batch, smell of lemon haze with noticeable bubblegum smell.
Somari, that actually smells like NYCD red grapefruit with a small sidesmell of diesel.
Voyagers
Lemon bubble, nice smelling lemony and hazey
Fromage blue, not sampled now
Bulldog
Power Afghan, like a good black afghan
Jolly Joker
Afghan, same, it's a black afghan, cheap and for the backpain days perfect
Solo
Red Lebanese, quite suprised by this one, but the small strips actually are like I remember RL from 15-20 years ago, more indica high after the first sativa rush
Katsu
Nepal Temble
Mazar Sharif
Charas all not sampled yet, but smells are good
Utopia
Sour Kosher, very nice smell
Mint Cookies, both not sampled, but smell is special
Kadinsky
Manala Cream, great high, strong but clear
Sibyrie
CBD Red Angel, well, bag appeal is bad, smell is good and it feels a bit body/head, just very easy. Wonder if it's an alternative for the black afghan when my backpain is back, right now I'm medicated quite good.
That's it. All of the buds look good (except the Red Angel) and all of the sampled buds had a nice flush and smell good. Execpt the Somari, this one tops it all, I had the NYCD red grapefruit pheno years ago from a friend, and I was on the hunt for this one since then, finally found one close to it again for a smoke.
That's it from me, hope you all enjoy xmas soon
Have a good one

It absolutely is, I smelled it and knew it's close, but just while smoking I realized how close it is. But, while the NYCD was on the lush side, the somari deff. knocks your brain a bit.
