Rotterdam smoking for us Brits?

Hi guys, I'm a regular to Dam and know it well. I fancy going to Rotterdam in February for a change and possibly back to Dam via Den Haag. Can anyone 100% confirm its 1. Legal for tourists to buy and smoke in These two areas still and 2, best coffee shops to sit and chill for a couple hours? Lot of sites saying there are less places to chill and it's more a take away vibe. I'm staying near station by coffee shop Nemo although that's the plan, nothing booked. Tempted to try hostel for first time as King Kong Hostel gets great reviews. is it also worth walking South 40 min from station across main canal to areas coffee shop Sultan is? Any advice would be great thanks.

No problem in either city. I don't know Rotterdam at all, having only changed trains there; I don't even know anyone who likes it, apart from a fan of modern architecture. The Hague, by contrast, is worth seeing. Cremers I liked, Dizzy Duck I missed but has been praised by others. It also has a museum dedicated to MC Escher's work, which is classic stoner art.

I recommend Utrecht over either den Haag or Rotterdam.

Yes! there isn't much else like Rotterdam harbor on grey misty day in winter, is just lush, and the sounds,

Great thank u, maybe worth say in the Haag instead then? Want to go to the coast to check it out ready for revisit in summer as previously loved hitting the beach at blijburg with a J. Any further advice is also welcome, was gonna do 2 nights in Rotterdam and then meet my mate in Dam for an eve, but maybe I'll do 2 nights in good old Dam
