Looks like we've got most of the usual suspects, although Grey Area is an interesting omission.

Nowhere near 50 yet so we're alright. Post here if you think of somewhere that should be included.

The nominations are coming on nicely so far :)

Grey Area is an interesting omission indeed - although on strength of their specialist menu alone they should probably have a nomination; I'm not going to champion it even though I am generally a fan of their products. I guess I'd like to think that we're making judgements based on other things other than the weed. Ambience etc etc. GA is a great shop - I'm just not sure I can nominate it for best coffeeshop purely down to the fact I've only ever managed to sit down in there once!

Macky and I have also discussed running a separate thread for nominations for best Weed / Hash of the 420 week. The only stipulation is that we're looking for the best product beneath the €15 per gram price point.

At present the idea is to create a nominations thread in the week commencing the 18th April. Macky and I will encourage people to contribute to it while we're on the ground over the week.

Contributors can add to the thread as they go along through their holiday and everyone else can use it as a guide as to what to buy/what's popular if they're interested in taking part.

Contributors can post in the thread nominating their top three strains of the week (complete with the CS where it was bought and its <€15 Price tag). Macky and I will count up the totals and that will tell us what the most popular strains of the week were. Easy peasy and it will be fun to see what the results are :)

Any more nominations for best Coffeeshop?

I saw New Times (spuistraat) mentioned on the board earlier somewhere - that's a shop I think gets overlooked but often has nice products, is in a good spot and I've enjoyed every stay I've ever had there so I think I'd like to see that on the list too please.

A very nice list there. Wish we had time to do a crawl around that lot.

Macky says nominations close and polling starts on Sunday.

We could get around all of those, it just requires commitment and effort :) I do 90% of 'em on my own over a 4 day trip :)

@OneHighMofo - express crawl - sounds like a challenge - we should give that a go.

Meanwhile, poll now open. Get your votes in.

It's never too late. Was it too late when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
