Just arrived on an overnight flight from Singapore, mid morning March 23. Damn is it cold in Amsterdam. Was here in Sept. and suffered through a heatwave. Anyway, I have spent the last 5 months working and not smoking and on arrival Im looking forward to finding some of my favorite smoke: Grey Area, Yellow Cab. Hit Utopia first as I was a bit early for Grey Area. Purchased a 2 gram bag of AK47 and rolled myself a easy going joint. Nice taste and effect, still easy to hop on the Internet and get some work done, feeling good, really needed this. Off to Grey Area, its packed but I got extremely friendly service. No Yellow Cab in, so I go for 2 grams of Grey Mist, 1 gram of Grey Berry, and a gram of crystals. Hop over to Tweede Kamer looking to score some Kali Mist but it wasnt on the menu. Brought 2 grams of Super Silver Haze and 2 grams Amnesia haze. Walked over to Greenhouse Namistle to pick up 2 grams of White Widow for the manager of the Hostel I will be staying at in the farm lands outside Eindhoven. Its out too so on recommendation I picked up two grams Jack Harrier. Rolled up a fat Amnesia Haze joint and proceeded to funk out my mind. Enjoyed the ambiance of Greenhouse Namaste and read a few Hemingway short stories. Last on my shopping list was to stalk up on Hash at Stix. I had never been there before but their Hash reputation seemed pretty impressive. Last time I had smoked temple ball from Haarlem and the Grey Area Version, and these stood out as my favorite hash of the trip. I got two grams of Stix TB but very strange because its as hard as a rock. I tried to roll a joint with it but could only get hard chips off, ended up mixing with the Indian Cream I also bought. The Cream was nice and soft and gave me no trouble. Cant really judge between the two in a mixed joint, but the entire mix with Grey Berry was quite nice and proper good high. But what was up with the hard TB - it was so cold that my fingers were numb, I also bought a gram of Gunpowder. From here I picked up a plate of dinner at a Chinese joint, and now Im on the train to a little farm style hostel outside Eindhoven. Im down there for a 7 hour tattoo appointment.

March 24th
I spent the day in Eindhoven, got drawn up for my tattoo and met some of my Dutch friends. We had a smoke at a great coffee shop, its not in this guide and I was too high to write it down. Had a fat amnesia haze and Indian cream hash joint. My local friends felt it pretty hard which made me happy. Gave my buddy about .5 gram of my grey mist crystals and he was amused. Going to be hanging out at the farm till my tattoo on tues. and meeting back up with my friends in Amsterdam tues night.

Re the too hard temple ball.....

If you stick it to the side of a cup of coffee for 30 seconds or so you will end up with soft squidgy black hash which you can roll into litttle sausages or just pick wee bits into a J.

Idid this with some manali creme on Friday and left it on there for a bit long: got it all off, after a while.

Try it but don't forget its on there. Failing that send it to me and I will look after it for ya, this is probably your best option!!

I stayed at the Animal Farm hostel, about a 20min bike ride from the middle of nowhere station of Zaltbommel.

I have worked as a ships officer for 8 years, so I got a large back tattoo to profile some of my voyages. I had 5 hours done in New Zealand (stars, anchor, banners) and 7 hours in Eindhoven to finish it. 7 hours is a long time but I almost napped the first 2 because of the fat joint I smoked befrore we started.



Yeah, I figured out some ways to soften up the temple ball, but shit, last sept. the temple ball I had was so soft. At least the smell and effects were still tops this trip even being hard as a rock.

And it was funny, I bought so much weed that every one made fun of me at the hostel when I first showed up with 14 grams, but other people at the hostel were so lazy and its such an effort to go out and buy new weed, that I ended up selling all the surplus I had, a happy deal for everyone.

Wow! That looks an awesome place. Animals and dope are a winning combo IMO. Great tatto by the way. I'm not normally a big fan but what you are doing is a really cool way of marking a time in your life. Would be a great thing to show the grandkids in later life.
